The more I read the more confused I get! I have read lots of posts and videos but have just a couple quesitons.

Is the Kr808, Kr808D-1 adn the vapor king the same unit?

Is the difference between a 2 and 3 piece where the atomizer is. for example in a 2 piece it's actually in the cartridge and the 3 piece a separate unit?

Most people seem to love vapor 4 life but a few don't why?

I like the idea of the atomizer being in the cartridge, it seems simple which is why I was going with the vapor king. I lot of people like the joye 510 I've noticed and was going to try that one before I found the vapor king so I've narrowed it down to those 2. Which would be best?

What other names do you all use for the vapor king and joye 510?

It seems the 510 is better than the 901?

A big question. When you start vaping does it hurt your throat and lungs? A friend of mine tried it and was going to vape instead of smoking and said it did, so is now going to try and just quite smoking using the patch.

Thanks so much! I really want to make a decision so I can order mine!

Two things, I did not have a sore throat or hurting lungs, I just feel better than before I started vaping.

Second, I have a 510, and cannot see any hassle with filling the cartridges... some of my juice comes in little squeezy bottles and I just put a drop or three in when I want... or the glass bottles with an in built dropper... I hate them and pour the juice into little glass dropper bottles from the chemist (pharmacy) the ones that have a little rubber bulb on the top and a glass tube. Again, no problems... takes me all of 5 seconds to top up a cartridge......

I hope this helps

Is the Kr808, Kr808D-1 adn the vapor king the same unit? Mostly yes, there are some KR808D-2 and I think -3 out there

Most people seem to love vapor 4 life but a few don't why? I'd be one of those few that the V4L people would accuse of not liking them...let me be clear here I do not dislike V4L..I dislike the confusion that rebranding a model causes and I dislike the zealot like mindset of some of the V4L fanbase who see their "vapor King" as the one true e-cig and anyone who prefers any other model a heretic..

I like the idea of the atomizer being in the cartridge, it seems simple which is why I was going with the vapor king. I lot of people like the joye 510 I've noticed and was going to try that one before I found the vapor king so I've narrowed it down to those 2. Which would be best? which would be best completely depends on your needs and wants overall, both are different vaping experiences..The 510 is the most popular with the KR8 being a close second right now...for me the 510 was more cigarette like in it's vapor production and throat hit and therefore an easier transition from regular smoking (and cheaper to get started) but the KR8 is somewhat easier.

What other names do you all use for the vapor king and joye 510?
KR808D-1 has been rebranded by different suppliers as: Vapor King (V4L), Ace (puresmoker), Nebula, Vaperello, DPVP9, Fusion, Zeus

510 has been rebranded by different suppliers as: Dura (janty), Dura C (janty), Yeti, Titan (Totally Wicked), Gorilla, True510, Versus (vapor station)

And I'm sure theres more names for both I'm forgetting

It seems the 510 is better than the 901?

A big question. When you start vaping does it hurt your throat and lungs? A friend of mine tried it and was going to vape instead of smoking and said it did, so is now going to try and just quite smoking using the patch. Could be the strength of juice, way they were taking a drag, or even a sensitivity to PG..

Thanks so much! I really want to make a decision so I can order mine!

The Vapor King is a KR808D.

In the 2 piece units the cartridge contains an atomizer, and thew unit is called a 'cartomizer' and it is considered disposable, although many refill them from 3-20 times.

Most people like V4L because of their dedication to their customers - through trying to ensure they have the best quality KR808D and components (they have an employee currently actually in China at the factories giving detailed instructions as to their customizations, and running QA, etc) They will ship you replacements for anything that fails to meet required expectations without requiring you to mail them back the faulty parts, and they have one of the best selections of flavours (if not the best).. these things and others have created a very happy and vocal customer base. (myself included) who believe they are getting incredible service and reliability for a very good price. As for those who don't like V4L I think you'll find that there is always some people who dislike a company, and the more popular that company is, the more these few hate it. Look at Google as an easy example. Of course, the other problem is that with so many customers who are so satisfied, you're going to have a few that turn fanatical, and this never ends up good, and I believe there are a few fanatical posts by V4L customers, which are troll-bait, understandably. Fortunately, in this case, a bad apple doesn't ruin the barrel.

The 'best' is really hard to say. If you are asking for best service and assurance of product, I can only say that I've never found better than V4L.
If you're asking about easiest to use, I suspect the Vapor King is, unless you get into refilling, in which case it's about the same. Other aspects, well, it really probably depends a lot more on your personal attitude and likes than anything anyone here can tell you. I'd have to recommend that you try both, which I suspect you will, in time, but you're asking which first, and I can only say that V4L has one of the biggest community presences here and they are very supportive of new users, so I can easily recommend them.

As mentioned, the Vapor King is a customized KR808D, the Joye 510 is, well, a customized (I assume) 510. People have tons of nicknames for their PV's, however, and have created threads listing them.

The 510 to 901 comparison is again a subjective one, they are more similar than cartomizers to 3 pieces, and I won't proffer an opinion further than that.

When you first start vaping it will feel different on your throat a little to smoking, or, for me it felt pretty much the same, but made me cough anyway. That lasted perhaps half an hour. It never has caused any discomfort in my lungs. Think about when you first had a cigarette, how it ripped your throat up - it's not nearly as bad as that, and doesn't last nearly as long.

Hope this helped. If you got any more questions, ask away.

Dan.
