Thank you to everyone on this forum. So much information it's overwhelming. One thing everyone seems to agree on is that they've been successful at quitting cigarettes... I mean analogs... so I decided to give it a try. My head was spinning as to what to order. I'm 43 and have been smoking since i was about 12. Currently at about a pack and a half a day and have tried everything else.

After several hours (literally) of reading and re-reading this forum I just ordered a Joye eGo from Cignot. I wish I had it right now... I'm psyched and ready to start right now.

Welcome to the forums- I'm sure you will love your Ego! I bought the 510's from Cignot about 2 months ago and love them!! Cignot is a great company! One thing you will need to do is make sure that you are stocked up on juice- I would order the 5ml sample bottles of diff flavors and diff nic strengths. I, like you, smoked about a pack and a half to two packs a day and found that I need the 30 mg nic strength. Everyone is different though and from what I've read, the nic strength really doesn't matter compared to how much and how long you have smoked
Good luck & enjoy!!!

Great choice on the eGos to everyone! Next step will be the juices. Samplers are good. I know that you're probably wanting to avoid "tobacco flavors", but they might be what you "need". I got Ry4 and found that although it's listed as a 'tobacco flavor' it doesn't taste like tobacco--it's MUCH better. But it was what I needed to leave the analogs. But I also have a bunch of "fun flavors too! I smoked for 37 years anywhere from 20 to 50 cigs a day. But the past 20 years, I've been smoking "lights". For me, (everyone is different) I find that I need 18mg to 24mg juice to cut the cravings.

The eGo is our choice of ecig after going through a few other models for the first five or six months. Wish it had been out there when we began. All were good and each seemed to be better than the last: RN4081, M401, Joye 510, but ahh..the eGo hit us last winter and we've stayed. Great battery life, no messy leaking, uses the great little 510 attys.
I'm 60, smoked for 45 years and was at 2-3 packs a day when I started ecigs. We quit regular cigs the first day. Truly, my wife and I are among the very lucky ones. It takes a bit longer, or even a lot longer for many. But ecigs do work. Welcome to ECF and a great and outstanding support group!

We got a couple sweet flavors and one tobacco flavor and all 24mg strength. I wanna make sure we cover the cravings. We got our juice from NHaler.com. any good sites you would recommend for juice?

Thank you all for the warm welcome. I'm even more excited now than I was a couple hours ago when I ordered my eGo. Now I'm ordering liquid samples, I don't want to run out. My original order included a pass-through because I smoke heavily at the computer.

Other than extra liquid, is there anything else extra I should order now? I'd hate to love it and run out 3-4 days into it.

Everyone's taste is different. I ordered some flavored juices from thevaporroom.net and they included a bottle of their Ry4. That's my "tobacco" flavor and I think that it's going to be my "quit flavor". A lot of suppliers have their version of Ry4 that people swear by--they say that it's got hints of caramel and vanilla in it. I don't taste either in my Ry4. But I liked it enough to turn around and order 30ml. of it (18mg.) It's just an indescribable flavor. Backwood Brew have a lot of tobacco flavors that people seem to enjoy. I'm letting most of my flavors steep until I get my taste buds back from so many years of smoking, but my Ry4 was good right out of the bottle when I got it. (who knows? If it improves with age, I don't know what I'll do!!!

Did you order any cartos? (cartomizers) I would suggest to have a few of them and an extra couple attys...and you may want to try a drip tip. I started dripping last week and really like it. I prefer that to using the reg. carts any day! Cartos are my second choice. And yes...plenty of juice at diff. nic levels. You will probably vape A LOT at first, so make sure you get a couple low mg. juice, don't want to get nic overload...I did, I buzzed the first few days, LOL. Congrats on your journey!

I would say probably extra atomizers and a couple of drip tips. I also have a PT hooked up to my computer. I have an atomizer on it with a drip tip. That way, I can test a flavor before I "commit" an entire cart or carto to the flavor.

Same here, in addition to practically chain vaping. A PT allows me to save my batteries for when I'm not in front of the computer or the 360, too.
