Congrats on the purchase!

One thing that I like to do is to tell people just starting is to not pressure yourself. If you feel the need for a cigarette, by all means have one. Not everyone picks up a PV and and leaves the cigarettes down. There are other MAOI's and alkaloids present in cigarettes that some people seem to get addicted to just as much or more than the nicotine. I was one of those. I still haven't completely "quit" but I have cut down from 2 1/2-3 packs per day to about a pack a week, sometimes one pack every 2 weeks.

I had some other stuff typed out and then decided that I didn't want to bombard you with even more information overload, so I'll bottom line it for you.

If you feel you need a cigarette, have one, and don't you dare beat yourself up about it.
If you feel like something is missing or just isn't cutting it for you, you have other options based on your choice of an ego and we can help you out when or if that time comes. Chances are, what you got will work great for you, but you may still need some cigarettes when starting.

You might also google common quit smoking symptoms, as many people do still experience one or more of them, as some of it are the toxins leaving your body. You should not experience anything even remotely close to as bad as trying to quit cold turkey though, so don't get scared, as many people have no withdrawal symptoms at all. Just drink a LOT of water! :)
