So rda on a istick 30

So I was sick of my kanger tank. I bought my first rda fishbone I built my first coil this morning. Im super excited any suggestions and ideas will help.

Flavors good but not a lot of cloud product.

The fishbone has massive airflow and a fixed chuff cap. You will probably need more than 30 watts to get big clouds out of it. Build something around 1 ohm.

I'm at consisted 0.5 ohms 3.8v 28.8w. I like the rda life a lot.

Do you have all that cotton in there to close off some of the air flow? The pic is not too clear, are you using a single coil and is the cotton going through the middle of the coil or just touching the underside of it?

I think you have a lot of wire left after passing the wire through the posts. If you do I would trim that off. The outer one is OK but if the middle one touches the deck it will short.

Because you only have 30w to play with I would suggest not using a lower gauge wire than 28 gauge for dual coils. Any lower and the coils are going to take a long time to get to temperature and so the vape wont be great.

Too much cotton? You want the coil in direct airflow and all sides of the coil exposed to and in the airflow. The bottom feed airholes of the fish will at any watts provide nice clouds if built right but not if you restrict its airflow.. Less is best! Just enough to slurp up the excess in there. Coils placed "Directly on top of airholes" almost touching it and very minimal cotton.. Just enough to fill the bowl deck slurping up drips.. Its weird ya, but it works best.. Fluffed out and minimal lol x3 said.. For some scientific reason the cotton will flow to the biggest mass like a magnet and you want that to be inside the coil not the deck..

I'd say too much cotton for one. Also, 30w is well enough to vape on an iStick 30w if you build for it. Build 1.0 ohm or 1.2 ohm and crank the watts to 30. Despite what some people believe, you can get good vapor production on a higher ohm build.

Thanks everyone I'm still messing around with it. I'm still super amped to keep learning I just gave my best friend my kanger to used on his ego . Now I'm official making my own coils lol
