I started vaping in early February with Egos, and was buying juice at 24mg. About a month later, I dropped to 18. About a month ago, went to 12, and so far it hasn't been too much of a shock. I just placed an order from NT, 130ml worth, all 6mg. I'm hoping I haven't jumped the gun on this. I bought some CB last order at 6 and it's fine. This order has more CB, CLS and GCD. We'll see how it goes. I, for one, still do enjoy some throat hit, and I even like that peppery nicotine hit with some flavors, but if I find it a little weak for my likings, I guess I'll have to get more in 12mg and mix them to get 9. The Reos I use now hit so much harder than anything I had in the past, I am hoping that I can get by on the 6.

With a Reo you should be fine ;)

I'm not saying you are wrong here but I have found very few actual legitimate studies testing nicotine, just that, as of yet. It's coming though. And then you have how much nicotine you and all of us actually take in using vaping, which is less than the gum and the patch. Either way I think you are doing right by you and in the end that is all that matters. :thumb:

For me I have chronic low blood pressure, so much so that now that I've quit smoking my "normal" is 85 over 42...my doc was  when she saw that!!

Me too! Really low BP. Just love that head rush sometimes when I stand up fast...not -lol

Also, for me - I am ADD and since nicotine is a mild stimulant it really does help me focus, relieve anxiety and feel calmer; albeit short lived. It may be controversial but there are some well respected experts in adult ADD that support nicotine (NOT smoking) and caffeine in lieu of traditionally prescribed stimulants that are highly controlled substances.

Nicotine has been FDA tested (clinical trials) in order for big pharma to market nicotine gum, patches, inhalers. Gum and patches have been around long enough to be deemed safe enough to be available, for a long time now, OTC.

I may be naive, but the FDA fuss isn't really worrying me. It takes years and years for clinical trials and double blind studies to be conducted to conclude the safety, side effects, and efficacy of anything - they can't just make an arbitrary blanket ban of something without exercising proper scientific methodology.

Naive? Perhaps

I find it noteworthy that three hits of 6mg don't translate to one hit of 18mg.

I guess I understand how it must work, but it's noteworthy that I can take 20 hits of 12mg in a row over the course of 2 minutes and not feel the nicotine, but one hit of 18mg and I feel it.

That's interesting! :) ...and how long do/can you go between the 18mg ones?
