anyway..
on a whim i picked up a blu disposable & thought 'eh, not bad'.
then i realized that i wasn't smoking my marlboros.
so, i found V4L & bought the big starter kit and some juice - and its shipping today.
now i need to lurk all the forums & find out what i really need (just cause a startup kit of anything never has the perfect options).

hopefully, i'll soon be an ex-smoker.

Hello and Welcome to the ECF!
I too started with a Blu kit. That got me down to 2 tobacco stix a day from a PAD habit. I've moved up to a mid range and that's doing the trick. Browse around the site, soak up the info and HAVE FUN! If you have any questions feel free to ask. These boards are well moderated and filled with people who were in the exact same position you find yourself in now.
With the right attitude and the right gear for YOU, it's a lot easier to get off the analogs. Good luck! :toast:

Once you start vaping your senses will come back ie: smell, taste etc. I no longer smoke because I choose to vape instead. My husband however still smokes and calls these fake cigarettes lol. I just remind myself as he's teasing me that I no longer stink! I don't have to go outside and freeze to enjoy my habit. I'm no longer coughing and with all the money that I'm saving from buying the traditional smokes I get to go shopping for different flavors, devises etc :) Good luck

It depends on what the threading on the devices is. Blu uses 510 threading, which is the most common. A lot of devices from mini cig-a-like's to mid range all the way up to mods use the 510 threading. There is also 808 and 901. I've never used those personally. There are also adapters that you can use to convert to different thread counts.

Edit: It looks like the cig-a-like kits from V4L use 808. Which kit did you order?

Pretty much my story. I started with a Volt from Smokeless Image 4 months ago. I'm pretty sure the V4L is an 808 like the Volt. You should be fine for awhile except you may need another battery or two just for backup. I find mine last about 3 hours real time of average vaping (I was a 2+ pad smoker). You can find plenty of accessories for the 808 (visit Smokeless Image sometime).

Love your Forum name  Grimwald is right. If your V4L is an 808 threaded device, you should visit Smokless Image and look at their X2 batteries. I use the 900 mAh battery all day and charge it at night. If you buy now they have 20% off for Xmas. Smokless Image has a great reputation and fabulous customer service.; The X2s come with their own USB charger, so you don't have to buy anything else.
