So what happnes When USPS messes up your Delivery??

I have some questions, I know some of you have been through this before, but it's my first time.


I ordered my Stuff on Friday night, I know V4L doesn't ship on weekends, so I knew it would not ship out till Monday. Which it did, normally I get my stuff within 2 days from ship date, one time it was 3.

I checked the tracking number today before I left work, to see if it was going to be there when I got home. USPS said it was "Out for Delivery" Problem is it's out for delivery in Olympia, WA which is about 150 or so miles away from where I live in Oak Harbor, WA. The zip codes aren't even close...lol

So I guess my questions are these, what is my next move? Do I call the post office? Do I just wait to see if they figure it out, and how long can this delay my order for? For those of you who have had this happen to you, any info you can give would be most helpful.

They have been known to eventually realize their error and re-deliver. Since it's so close to you I'd give it 2 days tops. Then you can yell and scream and the postmaster.

I would call the post office. If they give you the run around, which is almost a given, call me and I will reship it if it is not there by Friday 224-723-5340

I live in Missouri and have had V4L packages hit "Out for delivery" status in California twice but they still both made it to me a few days later. USPS is odd. Why a package would leave Illinois for Missouri and end up anywhere near Cali for a few days is beyond me.

On my last order it was "Out for delivery" in NC and I'm in OK. It took 2 more days, but I got it, so just give it a day or two. Probably one though since at least it is in the same state.

I got it today! Which made me SMILE Glad I didn't have to go through any hassle, I have seen some USPS horror stories on here...lol

My last order got redirected to Grand Rapids, MI. Not once, but twice. lol
Oh well, they caught it and I recieved it, just a little late though.

Turns out my bottle of licorice took a trip to Disneyland...it was only a day away from me on Thursday...and three days later I find out it's in Los Angeles.....hoping USPS will eventually get it to the right city....grrrrr.
