There's no easy answer...you could 'enjoy' the analogues until the PV kit arrives or you could silently suffer a nic withdrawl - which might make the arrival of the PV and the commencement of vaping all the more enjoyable.

Hubby and I are using the time to try to back off of our analogs and *I* am reading ECF and we are doing a lot of talking about it. We are hoping that smoking less will make our transition more enjoyable and successful. HOWEVER, I loved your idea about taking yours to all of her favorite places in a sentimental way AND thought swedishfish's post was hilarious too! Let us know what you decide!!

Don't stress yourself out about it. I tried my first e-cig in hopes of just cutting down on my PAD+ tobacco habit. Within a couple of days I was down to just 3-4 analogs a day without even trying. It took me about 6 weeks before I quit completely. In another six weeks it'll be a year since my last Camel.

I made the mistake of NOT doing this. Got a basic kit, now I'm using analogs again waiting for more attys...

As a newb of about six weeks, I have to say... I NEVER LOOKED BACK!!! Swear to you that I have been the biggest addict/fiend of anyone I knew for at least 33 years!!! I bought a Smoketip, not to quit, but because I was going on vacation and was not going to be without my nicotine for that many hours in transit flying. When I say that "I never looked back!!" Im not kidding!! Was wonderful and took to it right away! was sad that I didnt have enough "supplies" to keep me going when I got back!! TURNED MY LIFE AROUND when I wasnt expecting it!! Good luck!! The thought of an analog is already awful!!

Personally, I bought a couple of the disposable ones from a smoke shop. Smoked analogs when I felt like going outside, the disposable when I wanted to stay in. When I got my "real" one, ha, in the mail it felt like Christmas! I was all like "OH MAN SO GOOD" and everyone was just happy I didn't smell like an ashtray anymore. I'd personally be too lazy/excited to do anything productive ;]
