Hello folks,

I did some shopping last night and ordered the Athena, it was more of an impulse buy the anything else.
I should receive it in a few days, it's my first regulated mod, I'm using mech mods since over three years.

Anyhow, I'd like, etc to get your input and ideally first hand reviews about the Athena.... So far there is not much info floating around on the WWW about this device.

Thanks guys

Hey man, unfortunately I can't provide any insight/review on the Athena as I don't own one, but I've been looking to buy it for a bit now. The biggest thing holding me back is the lack of buttons, I know you can use grav control to adjust the wattage and such but that just seems a bit inconvenient to me at least.

Anywho, if you wouldn't mind letting me know your impressions of the device after you recieve it I would appreciate it greatly! Really torn on the Athena...looks beautiful but like I said idk if I would like having to use grav control. Decisions decisions.....

so, finally got the Athena yesterday.
I'm using it a since I got it. Run a Kayfun 4 on it.

Well, to keep it short, I'm not impressed by it.
First of all, this thing is huge, to be fair, this is my first 18650 mod, coming from 18500 mods.
The craftsmanship is not what I've expected from a mod in this price range, it has lots of sharp edges which easily would cut skin. The bottom of the mod has also two very sharp edges which are not covered very well. The stainless tube for the battery is not centered to the rest of the mod.
Button is in a great location, however, the stationary rim around it hinders sometimes to press the button all the way down to fire the mod.
The one thing I was concerned at the time I bought it turned out to function pretty well.... Its the gravity controlled menu.... Works like a charm.

I will use it a few more days, maybe I get used to it, if not, this one will be sold rather fast.....
