I bought a few of these solar chargers as Christmas gifts and never thought about using these as a PC. take a look at these: ThinkGeek :: Freeloader Pico Solar Charger

They are smaller than an iPhone and has a USB port. You can also charge this thing via USB since it has a battery inside. I was never really fond of these kind of chargers because I bought a few of them from ebay and they had crappy batteries in them. This one was the only one I found with good reviews and is reasonably priced. Of course I probably wouldn't use this regularly, but for those outdoor trips or even the last days of this world, these can come in handy. I'm thinking if I should keep one of these for myself.

Thanks Jiggity-J. I have been looking for something like this. I want to do a point-to point 7 day trail/packtrip out west next year. Ideally I would like a solar charger that can power a small appliance with a regular AC plug, but with this at least I can vape. If I can vape, who needs coffee???
