Testing, testing, and more testing. We had a few of our customers check out a handful of different models, and this is the one that made the cut. We were looking for a device that could charge any USB powered e-cig, with a minimum of hassle. If it could also handle other small electronics, that was a bonus. Well, according to our loyal guinea pigs (er...customers)...this one can do it.

The smaller devices didn't have enough muscle to charge anything, so we took the next step up the ladder.

2000mAh battery capacity

Charge the device with AC power, pull it from your car's cigarette lighter, use ambient or solar light. You can store needed power for later use.

Perfect for use in an emergency, on a job site, camping, hiking, afternoon at the ball park, or when you've forgotten to pay the electric bill.

For best results, you'll want to keep everything topped off. Customers report that this device functions best when used to maintain a full charge. Fully depleting the battery pack will result in 3-4 hour charging time via AC power, or up to 8 hours charging time using sunlight.

Best thing about this device is that it isn't specific to any model....if you can charge your e-cig with a USB port, this device will work. Here's some pictures of the unit itself, and the different charging options included in the kit.

The reviews are pouring in like chilled molasses. :)

So ya'll get an unbiased opinion, we sent one over to Grimm Green to give a testing and opinion. I think he's concentrating on Vape-con-fest-org this weekend. Hopefully he'll get some time to take a look and let you know what he thinks.

This nice person decided to help us out and give her opinion, seems to be doing just fine as long as you remember the key to e-cig batteries. They work best when you keep them topped off.

This is a good backup charger. The best things about it are that it has the capability to charge a lot of different kinds of devices in a small space and that the way it folds helps to protect the solar collectors while moving it around. It seems to have a little problem with electronic devices that are TOTALLY dead, but anything that still has enough juice to power up charges pretty quickly. It'll charge my pcc twice and my android phone sucks a lot of power, but this still has the capability to give it a half charge.

The solar abilities are ok, but not great. If you get enough direct sun they work very well (as per usual with solar power), so they'll be of greater value to me when I'm out and about during the summer months.

The other thing I've experienced worth mentioning is that if you leave it charging for an extended period of time using AC power, it seems to perform a little better if you let it go totally dead before recharging again.

Overall, it's a great backup for the size and price.
