There's been a small gradual growth of this solid like gel that refuses to unstick or liquidy in my tank. Any idea what it is, how it is formed, and how do I remove it? Thanks! :) ImageUploadedByTapatalk1408702554.572718.jpg

what kind of juice are you using?? Flavor? some juices will chemically breakdown the inside of the tank and either crack the plastic or create a film... citrus, cinnamon flavored juices are 2 of the top culprits...

I'm using a strawberry 12mg- one of the few flavors available :/

It's a good idea to rinse out your tank every three to five fills with hot tap water. As your wicks look pretty fresh (not darkened), that should clear up the residue.

sounds like a great idea, I kkow this a really mewbie question but I can just pour the water inside right? will it clog up the place where the gas comes out? (in the middle)

Some e juices will thicken up after they are heated more when chain vaping. It could also be happening if you are using juice that has sweetener. The only way to take it out is to dump your juice and remove the coil and rinse out and maybe even soak your tank in warm water.

juice is rather hard to get man hahaha. I hope its not due to heat though, because I leave it in my bag that's (mostly in airconditioned conditions)? It can be anything though, really perplexs me. sigh.

Throw a lil vodka in there every week and let it sit over night , then rinse with water..and replace the coil when needed (if that's a CE5 clearo)....

what kinda vodka man? Hahaha really afraid to mess up my CE5 clearo cos its rare in these parts.

Is it gel or is the plastic deforming? I've seen the latter happen because of heat or tank-cracker juices.

holy .... I really hope it aint a crack. But from what I can tell there are 2 gel-like solids which lead to the silver piece right in the centre.

Or you can just throw it away and buy a new one. They are rather inexpensive.

OP is in SG, I doubt even a CE4 or 5 is inexpensive there.

I think it's just some residue from the juice on the wicks. All you need to do is as others have suggested. Wait until you are ready to refill it, then instead of refilling with e-liquid, give it a good rinse out with hot running water. Shake off the excess and refill with e-liquid. Just make sure you dry the connector well where it screws into the battery.

When you first clean it, you will notice it be a little light on the vaper it produces, but it should be fine again after just a few puffs.

I have a friend that would get that but I think it was because she never cleaned them out. I cleaned hers one day and I swear it looked like a lava lamp. I would suggest a good hot water rinse every 3 refills. Before I started dripping, I would even fill with Everclear and let them set over night or if they where really bad, I soaked them in denture tablets. Good luck to you and happy vaping. :)

I meant from vaping especially chain vaping at higher volts can get certain liquids thick when using an iclear16 or something similar, I'm assuming you have a dual coil tank? I use to get that especially from chain vaping at high voltage settings with thicker/sweeter juices.

But, either way just run hot tap water through the empty tank without the coil and give it a warm-hot water bath for awhile and soak in vodka if needed.
