My eGo-C Twists are getting gunked up on the center post. I've tried to clean them with a Q-tip, but some of this gunk is stubborn. Has anyone used a solvent of some kind that will clean them up without causing problems?
I have used alcohol with a Q-tip. I try not to soak it, but do get it fairly wet. I let it dry out for an hour before vaping so I don't inhale the fumes.
I would try using a paper clip, sometimes the juice vets baked on & the only thing you could do is scrape it off with the end of a paper clip & with a q-tip lightly dipped in alcohol (I use 91% isopropyl alcohol) swipe the inside of the connector & threads give it another swipe with a dry q-tip to get the left over alcohol if any is left behind give it a quick blow to dry it out screw on your tank, atty, rba or whatever you're using & you're ready to vape away..hope this helps you out
I took an old sock and tore it in half and I soak it in rubbing alcohol, twist it up, shove it in there and twist it around until it's shiny. My brother had an idea to use carburetor cleaner and it worked great,it dried pretty fast.
