Hello folks - Levitas here with a couple of questions.

I am looking into investing on a VV mod of some sort and I have been site jumping all over the place reading on different VV's and Mods in general. Youtube reviews, personal testimonials and just overall popularity of what others use (in juice reviews, as said in their signatures, etc.) With that said, out of the numerous mods I've seen, a few really stick out to me.

Price, well price really doesn't matter. What matters is a solid, super well functioning device. That being said, I've narrowed it down to a possible 3. Either I'll be saving and purchasing one of these soon or I'll end up undecided again and just wait around to see what the Eclipse eq looks like (that one REALLY sparks my interest)

-Provari
-Phidias
-Ali'i

The Ali'i is out of stock and I have no clue when it will come back. So, if I make a spontaneous decision, it may not be that. Though it looks really neat. I like the button placement and I have seen numerous video reviews on it with nothing but good.

The Phidias - I guess you can only buy these through the forums? I cannot find a website. But this guy looks awfully neat too!

The Provari - really cool because of the Voltage display and looks quite durable. But I almost like the box mod look more but that is subjective and really in the long run my decision will be made on quality not just looks.

Then there's the new Boge revolution coming out as well and Monkey Boxx's.

What do you guys think? Should I splurge and get one in the next couple of weeks? Or should I just try something new like some LR atty's and just wait on the other new stuff coming to make a choice?

p.s. I am really jealous watching these juice reviews and those peoples are getting considerable amounts of vapor. While my ego is excellent and does it's job well, I don't think it's comparible to that of those beast mods. Those who know me, know my patience doesn't exist. Please help me before I chuck out hundreds with abandon!

Well in 2 more weeks i will finally have my black Provari and i could chime back in with something helpful.. i hope. It is pricey but every review i saw it was well worth it and you wont be let down. The 3 week wait time can be a little nerve wrecking but I try not to look at youtube reviews or go on there subforum so I wont think about it.

I've also been looking at the Darwin and I will probably buy one of those if they are ever back in stock. Going with LR attys/cartomizers are a good idea while you're waiting. I have been using them on my Reo Mini for weeks now and i love it. I might be wrong here but.. even though they give you warmer vapor, stronger TH and give you the replicated higher voltage experience.. There is nothing like the real thing. So the solution would be getting the VV to chime in to what sweet spot you want or a strong hit to wake you up in the morning. Sorry if i'm not helpful at all. :)

It comes down to what's best for you not what we think you want. From what your saying it seems like you're leaning toward a juice feeder as well. If that's the case then Ali'i or Monkey Box would be a good choice and maybe others I'm not aware of. If not then it seems like you've narrowed it down to the Provari which is an excellent choice also.

I will say if you're wanting a juice feeder don't let the wait time detour you because if you want it that's what you're going to ultimately get in the end whether it's now or after you buy a few mods in between.

PS: I wasn't aware the Phidias came in vv, I could be wrong though.

Based on your comments, I would suggest either the Darwin or the Big Daddy. The Darwin is built like a rock, gets 21-35 hours on one charge of very heavy vaping and has a two year warranty. It also automatically adjusts the power level you are vaping at to compensate for the change in the atty/carto's resistence. The Big Daddy is a VV box mod from Ken's box mods. Ken has an excellent reputation and builds solid PV's.

Review of the Darwin:

Just got an email about the darwin. They will have some in stock this week, too bad i don't get paid untill Friday!

I will probably buy a new mod in a month, I'm in the same boat with another VV or a VV juice fed.. or just a nice juice fed. Hmmm i just don't know

The Phidias looks very cool. I found a couple of the different wood designs i like. I think you would have to PM him and ask question in that one thread. Looks like he's making a bunch.

I would have to tell you to put an order in for a VV Ali'i, they are never in stock you have to wait till ordering opens and place an order. It will also take you about 4 weeks to get it once it is built. I have all the other Mods you say you want and are considering. If you truly want a VV mod that doesn't leak, performs the same on every vape, and has everything in the Mods all in one this is your purchase. I run two of these and they are my go to Mod. The other one that you should also consider that will be out this coming month is the Eclipse, nobody has mentioned I don't think in the thread but it is going to be one heck of a PV so it seems, I am really looking forward to this PV more so than any other one I have ever waited to buy, if you havent seen it or read about it you can here it's going to be an Epic PV = The Eclipse eq Personal Vaporizer (Patent Pending) [The Eclipse eq] - $0.00 | Best Electric Cigarette | Electronic Cigarette

Some excellent advice here!

The Darwin and The Provari are so tempting. I don't know what it is about it but I love the digital display. But I also really really like the idea of a 'feeder' bottle mod (no mess?)

So the Ali'i maybe? It's such a hard choice! I wish I had the funds to just get them all!

Argggg, now I am a little depressed... I ran out of my favorate juice! Good thing I prioritied mass amounts of juice! sorry off topic...

You guys think I should just try a 5V mod or something? Or just jump straight into the VV? I really thought the Ali'i might've been the 'one' but, it's out of stock. The darwin also looks VERY cool. Bah, back to where I started...

Oh my goodness, you're KILLING ME! I was leaning towards the Ali'i! But now I want to wait for the Eclipse also (that thing looks SO beast!) Why is this such a HARD decision?!

EDIT: I am going to save and wait for the Eclipse. If it doesn't come out relatively soon (May-ish) I am probably going with something else, otherwise I am really thinking on setting my sights on that bad boy. It just looks like an orgasim in a box with digital buttons and pretty colors.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...volt-monkeyboxxvv-variable-voltage-model.html TomB's MONKEYBoxx VV is worth looking into also. I only have the regular MONKEYBoxx right now, but also having a Provari and VV Joker (can fit a MAP tank to make them sort of feeding) I can't wait to try his VV option. He does custom engraving that makes them really stand out from the others! So far the reviews of the people who have received the VV MONKEY have been really great. I can tell you about his customer service and he guarantees every mod he sells. Worth checking into ... also email him and tell him what your concerns and/or thoughts are. He will tell you honestly if his Mod will work for you. I have 4 Box-Mods, and 2 VV Tube-Mods and my MONKEYBoxx really is my favorite! I was also in line for the VV Ali'i ... but am pulling out of that line for the MONKEYBoxx.

I'm in line for an Eclipse now :) But if for some reason I decide against it, I'll do more research on the MB.

EDIT: Ya know, I went ahead and took a long look into the MonkeyBoxx's and they look REALLY cool! I especially like the customization with wood colors, inlays and laser imprinting. The only thing that is kind of a killer is the price but then again it's fine hand made craftmanship. I think I'll still wait around to see what the Eclipse will be all about, but like I said, if it doesn't work out for any reason I'll probably go with a MonkeyBoxx.
