I would defenitly say for an under 100$ price range, the iTaste MVP 2.0 can't be beat. It's very sturdy and can take a beating.
Now if you are looking for something better and are willing to put down a little more (120ish) May I suggest the Segelie 20w. I have it and since I got it, all my other mods are lonely :D Very sturdy and capable of firing up to 20 watts.

I debated between the mvp2.0 and the vamov5 for weeks. I finally decided on the vamo and I haven't looked back. but its all dependent on what you like. the mvp is an absolutely amazing mod. its list of features, durability and ease of use are top notch. but you know what did it for me? the battery and power. the mvp has an internal battery. and even tho its a passthrough that does offer the disadvantage to me of sitting on the boat fishing and then BAM! your mod goes dead. with the vamo ive had that happen twice now and u know what I did? popped in new battery! but the mvp does offer passthrough abilities so if your lifestyle puts you near a usb port most of the time, ur fine. then I had to look at the power. the mvp only goes up to 11w. which is more than enough for most vapers. vamov5 goes to 15w and right now I even rock my vamo at 11w but im still fairly new to vaping. I didn't want to limit myself. and you can use the mvp as a power bank to charge other devices but as cool as that feature is, it didn't appeal to me personally. I down own a smartphone, I don't carry a tablet infact the only things I carry on a regular basis that would need recharging are my flip phone and my laptop. my phones battery life lasts for 2 weeks per charge and the mvp couldn't charge my laptop anyway so im not the target demographic. now price. you can get the mvp shipped for around 40-50 bucks. you can get the vamo shipped around 35-45 but then have to spend money on batteries and a charger if this is your first mod. so it really all comes down to what you want this mod to be able to do for you. if you have any specific questions about the vamo, feel free to pm me and ill help you the best I can.

If you read enough, you may come to the conclusion that none of the Chinese APVs are truly dependable. Some people have good luck and others do not. I have 3 iTaste VV3s. The first one I bought started getting flaky after just two mouths. The vender I used only offered a 2 week warranty and Innokin would not respond to any of my emails. This time I've ordered a Evolv Kick 2 and a mech. I think if you want a truly dependable APV, you buy a ProVari.

I'd say that all of the sub $60 priced vv/vw mods are rather identical. The MVP V2.0 being the exception because of its filtered output which may or may not be noticeable by you. My suggestion, buy something dirt cheap directly from China at a site like FastTech. You can get $25-$30 devices. If you need one now, go with a vendor you like or Google for the cheapest domestic you can find. Order a second once you've had the device for a few weeks if you like it, get a different style if you don't. Get the second cheap from China. If the thing breaks, toss it because it will eventually. At this price these things are disposable.

Where you don't want dirt cheap is the batteries and charger. Plenty of threads here listing quality ones of each.

Vamo5 and Tesla are two great companions to go with your MVP.

Good suggestion. I wanted to try out the Tesla so I got one through Fasttech. Love it. Now when this one bites the dust I'll order a genuine one and I already know I'll be happy with it!

Good luck!

If you are looking for a tube mod in your price range you can do much better than the Vamo. The Sigelei Zmax telescopic V3 or V5 or the solid tube V2. These offer solid stainless steel one-piece 510/eGo threading and removable top caps. Soft threads on the Vamo are famous for wearing out. The Sigeleis are shorter in overall length than the Vamo and have durable brushed stainless steel tubes that aren't fingerprint magnets. The Vamo is better than the Innokin iTaste SVD, though. That one has been plagued by bad buttons for the last several months.

The V3 and V5 telescopics offer the best battery versatility. Overall length varies from 100mm for 18350 to 127mm for 18650.

It's hard to beat the AW 2000mAh 18650 to start with for any of these rigs.

great deal on a Sigelei V5:

Desert Vapes V5

This dealer offers 90-day vendor warranties on V2 and V3:

Varitube

Photos at web sites are often out of date. This is a new Sigelei Zmax telescopic V5 I bought from Desert Vapes less than a month ago. It features a metal button and laser-etched logos. Sigelei is under the fire button, CE on the battery cap.
