I had an auto generated mail from altsmokes that I ordered something. Perhaps other customers got the same thing. You did write back though that it was a mistake in a new app and I appreciate that after wondering last night if the credit card was stolen or what.
My suggestion is email all your customers past and present and explain how and why that happened so they don't think something fishy happened.
Just a precaution, last year 30 million credit card numbers got stolen for a database from ebay or amazon can't remember.
