Hullo!

So out of curiosity (or possibly sheer stupidity, I haven't decided yet), I ordered a Kanger Aerotank V2 and a 5-pack of Kanger 1.2ohm VOCC coils. I've been having some problems determining the safe zone for volts and, well, about the VOCCs in general.

On the page for the Aerotank V2 itself, I've seen "dual coil" spread all over the place, yet when I ordered the VOCC, I wasn't specifically informed if it's a single or dual. I've been trying to search around, but since everyone's setup is so different and a lot of it was so overcomplicated, I didn't really find an answer.

Here's my setup to give you a better idea.

I've been using Protank 2, 2.2ohm coils (up to now anyway) and vaping at 4.2 volts
eGo-C Twist battery
70%PG/30%VG, 18mg e-liquids

Like I said; simplistic. :|

Edit: Oh and the clearo did come with a dual coil, and I haven't been able to find any conclusive answers as to the suggested voltage for those either.

Same as any delivery device, start off at a low power setting & work your way up taking a vape or three on each setting until you find what you like.
If you get a hint of burnt taste turn it down.
There is no safe or right or wrong power range, it is a matter of personal preference.
If you use too much power you'll get a burnt taste & possibly burn or singe the wicking material.

Are you sure the 1.2Ω vocc replacement heads will even fit in the aerotank...
I thought the vocc were for the subtank's, that is unless they make them specifically for the aerotank.

Seemed to fit in there just fine, but I dunno. Funnily enough, after lots of testing and zero satisfaction with the VOCCs, I placed a 2.2ohm SOCC into the Aerotank and it worked wonders. Fast fire up, massive vapor. According to the sites I purchase my goods from, they aren't meant to be used together. Go figure.
