Oh noes! So after about a year of the awful habit of leaving my Reo Mini on my lap at the computer, forgetting it's there, and watching it tumble to the floor a few hundred times, it finally seems to have sustained some damage. I've got a tiny crack in the little plastic piece as seen in the picture here.

I've since given away my other mods to unfortunate friends, and the Reo is all I have, I can't afford to wait however long it takes to ship it back for repair! Is this even something I need to be concerned about? Can I just get that part sent to me? It looks like it would be easily replaced... I don't know, I've even been thinking about picking up a grand and using the mini as a backup lately...

I am certainly impressed though at how well the mini has held up to all my abuse. This thing has been dropped so many times, often atomizer-end-down, and it's still going strong, not a scratch on it! I can definitely attest to the durability of these things. Mine is almost a year old now, never even changed a tube or bottle on it! Just a weekly cleaning, and bi-weekly noalox applications have kept this baby working great.

hiya DJApoc -- that is a tiny crack and luckily you don't have to open that lid for anything because if you did it would definitely crack... and as my fellow REOkin have suggested, PM the Modmaster at redeyedancer and he'll get you squared away in a jiffy :D

in the meantime, maybe a dab of superglue will do ya ;) These REOs are built like TANKS! Now that you've had a great return on your investment with your first REO, methinks you should get yourself a backup REO! :thumb:

Hmm, maybe you can toss in a new piece when I order a reo grand... which I will probably do once you get some more up on the site. I am really hoping to get a polished one if you've got any on the way...

Dude, sounds like whatever finish you get it's gonna end up a tumbled finish for sure. :p
