And thanks in advance....
I've been digging through the threads, can someone point me to any that compare the GLV3 sizes/voltages?

Not sure what I want yet.... am I right that there are 3 sizes?
I see where you can get laser engraving on this one:
GLV-3 Electronic Cigarette [GLV-3] - $195.00 : Electronic Cigarettes and E-Liquid - Great Lakes Vapor
but not on the others?

Is there a mini and a super-mini?
Are any of them VV?

They seem like pretty good mods, just want to be sure of what I'm getting.

You're right, the GLV-2 is available in three sizes: "original" or full-size, Mini, and Super Mini. The full-size requires two (2) AW ICR123 batteries and the Mini and Super Mini only require one each. 16340s will work in the full-size and Mini but they are a smidge too long for the Super Mini.

The full-size GLV-2 (and GLV-3 with juice-feeder) is available in three (3) voltages: 6v, 5v, and 3.6v. The 3.6 and 5v versions have a resistor installed in the head-cap. The GLV-2 & GLV-3 Mini and the GLV-2 Super Mini are 3.7v and also have resistors installed.

The full-size GLV-2 and GLV-3 both have the laser etching option (max of 8 characters) but the Mini and Super Mini are too short so the option isn't offered.

Here's a pic for comparison:

The actual GLV-2 dimensions are:
  • 4 x 3/4 x 1 3/4" for the 5v/6v
  • 2 1/2 x 3/4 x 1 3/4" for the mini
  • 1 3/4 x 3/4 x 1 3/4" for the SM......give or take.
There are currently no VV GLVs available but they perform so well hat VV isn't really necessary. Russ (6pointprime) provides some amazing information about consistent wattage from a 5v GLV regardless of the atty/carto resistance here. It's definitely worth reading and watching his video where he demonstrates that it's all true. In a nutshell:

6pointprime said:
...the GLV2 can use ANY atomizer without any modifications. I have tested the following atomizers:

1.5 ohm Cisco 510 and 306
2.0 ohm Cisco 510
2.7 ohm Boge/Liquid Xpress carto
3.3 ohm V4L coolcart
1.5 ohm 801 (non-Cisco)
1.8 ohm 901 (non-Cisco)

All of these atomizers on the GLV2 clock in between 10 and 11.5 watts. The GLV2 will adjust - without any changes or settings by the user - to produce a good voltage for the atomizer being used.

As for what you'd be getting, you'd be getting the most durable (virtually indestructible) PV on the market with unbelievably consistent performance and with a 5v, a vaping experience like you've never imagined possible.

Stop thinking about it and place your order. You will not be disappointed! :thumb:

Thanks for the info! I'll read a bit more from what you provided.
Are there improvements or such made for GLV3? I am leaning towards the 3 rather heavily.
I'm torn cause I have little hands and like the look of the super mini, but I'm greedy and want the laser engraving and the 3 options for vaping. LOL
I'm thinking the main difference between 2 and 3 are the 3 options; top feed, bottom feed, no feed?

The GLV2 is without the feeder. I have girl hands (good reason) and while it is big, it is not too big. I've been tobacco free for more than a year and was strictly dripping. The GLV3 is the most perfect mod for eliminating dripping and driving without changing the flavor of the juice. I use the 3 all day whether driving or not. As a matter of fact, I like the bottom feeder sooo much I haven't even tried the top feeding ability.

Because my hands are smaller than a man's, I typically use my pointer finger to hit the button. It is easier to grasp this way for me. If you have the ability to get the GLV3 I would do it if I were you. Remember, if you don't like it (for some reason) you can always put it in the classy's and get your money back. You can't lose going with it.

This is true.... I've noticed at least one on the classy's, but I'm a purple kind of gal and want my name on it.
I'm saving my pennies for the 3 in the 5v, and considering saving up for a 2 super mini too just cause it's cute. LOL

On a side note, you need your own attys/cartomizers correct?
You wouldn't need a tank because of the feeder systems.....

What are the favorites for use on the GLV3 5v and or GLV2 super mini?
So far, I like Boges 2.5 or 3.0 and Fusions on either my eGo or Buzz Pro. The Go-Go I have uses it's own cartos, tho' I hear there are adapters out for it now.

Any resistance really works well on the 5v but I prefer LR on my Mini & Super Mini.

I swear by Boge cartos from Puresmoker.

From the Puresmoker product description:
1 x Boge 510 Cartomizer- Sold individually ($1.49 each), not in packages of two.

Available In:
Stainless Steel or Black
Low Resistance: 1.9 - 2.1 ohms (Best at 3.7v or below) [Can be used at 3.7v or below. Not to be used on High Voltage Devices]
Standard Resistance: 2.9 - 3.1 ohms [Good at most all voltages]

No need for a tank on the GLV-3s but you could certainly use one on a Mini or Super Mini. I believe "tankers" use a 510 to 510 adapter/extension so the tank doesn't interfere with the button.

Definitely go for the laser-etching. I passed on it when I bought my first GLV-2 because I really didn't think any PV could be as great as everyone said the GLV was and figured it wouldn't sell in the classies with my name on it. Little did I know the hype wasn't hype but absolute fact! Definitely a keeper.
