Hey everyone,

I am going to order http://www.fasttech.com/products/1405703 soon, with some liquid as well.
So my question is, what else do I need besides that, like do atomizers/clearomizers burn up or something?
And what about the maintenance?

I don't know anything about it, sorry.

That's why I'm asking it here!

Would really appreciate help.

Hi Skillet, do you have any other devices besides what you have ordered? It`s always good to have back ups just in case something goes wrong with what you are using. As far as what you ordered, it should be fine to get you started but atomizers/clearomizers do burn up or just stop working after a period of time. May only last 1 week or could last a couple of months depending on usage. I would suggest a variable voltage battery 1,000 mah or bigger so that you can adjust the voltage to your liking (what you are ordering will only work well with low res atomizers/clearomizers) and maybe some Kanger evods or a Protank that you can buy replaceable heads for. I know there are others on this forum who could be a lot more helpful than me but I hope the little bit of advice I gave you helps.

I started ordering the discounted stuff from China and quickly found out that yes it is a great deal I ended up sending 2/3 of the stuff I bought back because it would break. And the fact that I could not stand there juices. There are some great dealer sites on here that have great reviews and I suggest that you take a look through those before buying your first set-up. Not that I am trying to promote the sites on here it is just I would hate to see a new Vapor turned off so quickly. And most of the stores that I have done business with will walk you through the start up phase by email. If you have any specific questions feel free to ask I will call myself a medium on the knowledge scale... Just cannot get into rebuilding my own coils. lol

I agree with wbart. Since you are brand new to vaping and not familiar with what to buy yet, you'd do better ordering from an American vendor where it's easier to deal with possible merchandize returns and offer more recognizeable quality products.

I have an ideal beginner's setup in this link to help you get an idea of what you need to get started vaping properly, and not become disappointed with something that may not work properly right out of the box and not have any recourse but take a loss. Remember, dealing directly with a China distributor must take shipping times into consideration. Watch the videos in the links.

"Ideal Beginner Vaping Setup": - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...06-4-good-starters-setup-beginning-vapor.html

Recently, the best deal for a beginner's setup has been at My Vapor Store: http://www.myvaporstore.com/Vision_Spinner_Joye_Ego_C_Twist_Combo_p/vvs-c.htm

To familiarize yourself with the different juice delivery device most commonly used on the eGo batteries, take a look at this picture dictionary that I made. It will show you a pic of the device, a short description, and a video of how it is filled/used.

EDIT: I didn't realize until later you're from Australia. Still, I stand by my above statements. Are there any reputable Australian e-cig vendors?

Somewhere out there
I would say that you should get some spare clearomisers. The Ce4 types aren't super reliable and they will need to be replaced after a time anyway. I'd suggest getting some of the evods from FT instead.

Actually, you should have backups of everything, battery, charger and clearos. It's way too easy for this type of thing to get lost or broken. Besides, you'll want two batteries so you can use one while the other is charging.

Well I am glad you will be getting juice from a different site, Which site are you thinking of?
And as starter kits go I always recommend vapedojo.com they have a really good starter set up for under 20 dollars I have gotten all my friends and family one and they all loved it. Most have moved on to Bigger and shinier things but just have fun with it. Discovery is what it is all about and everything I love you may hate it is just the way the world works.

I'll probably get some liquids from HG e-juices e-liquids Heaven Gifts , looks pretty good to me.

Also, can you link me the kit under 20 dollars? :)

If you plan on buying juice from China , try out Vapor Break DOT com . I have made 3 orders with them . 2 were shipped fairly fast , and one got hung up in Atlanta for almost a week , not sure what the problem was there as it was already past customs in NY . You didnt say what your budget was for your first starter set . They have ViVi Novas for about 4 USD each , and eGo sets starting at close to 20USD , single batteries i think are about 7 or so .
I have been real happy with the products and service i have gotten from them so far . And shipping hasnt been terribly bad no matter what i bought . Last order included 11 bottles of 50ml juice and a whole bunch of other items , and was only 27 USD i think it was for shipping .
My suggestion with them is JUST MY PERSONAL OPINION . I like dealing with them , their prices are cheap , and quality , well its a Chinese knock off of something on most items . Batteries i have gotten were all good . Only 1 bad ITEM in 3 orders , and they gave me a credit for it . It was a battery charger for 18350/18650 batteries .

Again , if you plan on buying from China , then take a look there . If you find a more reputable seller closer to Australia , then by all means use them . And remember Customs and e-liquid , i dont know what the restrictions are for there . Some places have restrictions on shipping batteries also .

Hey everyone,

I am going to order $9.52 EGO-CE5 4-in-1 USB Rechargeable 1100mAh Electronic Cigarettes Set - translucent + silver / with empty bottle at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping soon, with some liquid as well.
So my question is, what else do I need besides that, like do atomizers/clearomizers burn up or something?
And what about the maintenance?

I would order an extra battery so you can charge one as you use one. I would order a 5 pack of Clearos and atomizers. Reason is: While you are cleaning them you can still Vape using your back ups. When you clean the Atomizer you have to let them dry for a 24 hr period.

When I first started I bought 5 Clearos, a 10 pack of Atomizers, and 2 batteries. Now I got my juices and kit from a local Vape shop here in Indy. BUT I have heard the best places to get juices online are The Vapor Room ( The Vapor Room.net | Vaporize Nicotine | E Cig Atomizers ) . When you order from them you are eligible for a free 15ml bottle of juice of your choice. Just follow the instructions on how to get it. Another good place is Mr. Vape , Mom and Pops, Ahlusion. and Vape Dudes. I am waiting on my order from The Vapor Room. Should be here tomorrow.

Wow their prices are amazingly cheap! Is the stuff on there genuine though? Thanks!

I would recommend the evod attys from FT.

$15.24 EVOD Electronic Cigarettes Round Mouth Atomizer (1.5mL) 7-pack - 2.6

You can order just one for around $2.65 but I would recommend the larger pack. I have ordered these and I really like them but I have gotten a couple with bad heads so I was glad I had others to use.

Also the batteries from FT are ok, I ordered an 8 pack of there 900 mah batteries and most are ok but they don't hold a charge as well as some of the others I have bought.
But since you want to start cheap just to see how you like it, I think this is the best way to go.

Yeah, I'll get two. What about Hangsen? I saw/read some reviews and I heard most of the flavors are good, but that just some suck. What flavors and brand do you recommend, and what is your gear? :)

Hangsen is also Chinese, Americans make best e-juices, although I have ordered from some UK sites some really tasty juices. My advice regarding e-juices is to order samples (or smallest quantity available) of everything (even Chinese, maybe you'll like it) that sounds good and to try it. I'm sure that Australian vape shops also have some homemade juices, you should try those too. Taste is very subjective thing and you should try everything yourself. Before you order any e-juice you should check what is Australian policy regarding e-juice import, some countries have some restrictions and I suppose you wouldn't like your e-juice get seized by customs.
Regarding my gear, I'm little bit of a hoarder and collector. :) I have Nemesis, Provari, eVic, Vamo v3, two Vamos v2, Combo Hybrid, Ithaka, Kayfun 3.1, Kayfun lite, RSST, Aga T2 and bunch of Kanger ProTanks, T3's, Evods and that kind of stuff.
For your starter kit I would suggest Evod starter kit, two ego style batteries, two Evod clearomizers with 5 replacement heads and charger. You can get no name Evod kit from Fasttech for around $20 US with free shipping, or Kanger Evod kit (that is original) from various sites for $40-50 US plus shipping. My sister is using Kanger's kit and she likes it, I don't know anything about those from Fasttech.
