im getting some supplies together to attempt my first DIY, i want to better understand what this means

for example if the flavor concentrate i am getting is 15ml and i have a empty 30ml bottle does that mean if i wanted to mix at 40% i would put it 12ml of flavoring and 18ml of flavorless nicotine juice?

12ml flavoring
10.5 pg/vg
7.5 nicotine

Do not use 40% flavor! Start around 10-12% for most of the Mt Baker flavors, they are similar/same to FlavorWest FW

Some may need 15+, and some may need less than 10%, but I've never used nor seen anyone using more than about 18%

so according to the calculator

my nic is 48mg/ml

to make 30ml i would use

7.5ml nic
4.5ml doubler flavoring
18ml pg/vg

so basically that $4.49 of 15ml berry creamy will end up making me about 90ml's of juice..lol offcourse a few dollars more for the vg juice and liquid nic..

Imo if given a range say 5%-40% or 5watts to 40watts. I always start at the bottom of the scale and work my way UP.. FWIW 40% is always 40 parts of 100. so,yes if you are making 30mls at 40% flavoring, you would use 12ml flavor and 18 of BASE.

You can Not go by these "Recommendations" that are sometimes seen on a Retailers website. And even if you did, you would Never want to start at the High End of the range.

Flavoring Do Not come in Standardized Concentration Levels. One OEM's Berry Flavoring may taste Weak at 15%. Where another OEM's may be Overpowering at 10%.

If you are looking for Guidance of where a Good Starting Percentage may be? You should Post the Exact Brand of Flavoring(s) you are planning on using. And then let Members who have used that Exact Flavoring Chime in.

I like strong, "shake and vape" type flavors and I NEVER go above 20%!!!! Lol! 40% just sounds like they want you to use the whole bottle in one mix and buy more.
