Don't get me wrong, now... Despite anything I say from here on out, I have made up my mind and fully intend on ordering a Maxx Fusion "kit" as soon as I secure the funds for it. I do have some gripes about the website that I personally had to overcome, as a pre-vape noob.
The starter kits seem dumb, and not a value buy. The deluxe starter kit is what I would look at, as a starter, but it comes with "(2) Velvet Battery Pouches". I don't need them, and don't want them. Even if forced to have it as part of an order, it looks like one pouch would hold two batteries, and would have no reason for 2! Why gripe so hard about POUCHES?... They're an extra, some nice flair, right? Nope, those pouches COST!
I can piecemeal an order: 2 batts, wall/usb charger, and a 5 pack of cartos (deluxe starter minus 2 pouches) and see a jaw-dropping price difference. THIS is how I will be ordering. Those pouches kind of stink. I can order an extra 5 pack of cartos and still save money over the starter!
Look, I understand this is probably a packaging issue. It's what YOU get, and what you have to sell. It's a minor gripe, and I'll deal with it by simply ordering by the piece.
A slightly bigger gripe is the general lack of information on the Bloog site. Bottom line, the products don't sell themselves, and rely on outside research (ECF is what made up my mind about my future purchase.)
Problems I actually faced on site:
What the heck is the difference between Fusion and Maxx Fusion, besides pricing? If I'd had the money immediately available when I hit the Bloog site, I would have walked away with an old Fusion and been excited about the savings. But I wouldn't have gotten the product all the rave reviews are about, the product you're working so hard on developing.
Items tend to lack some definition in their descriptions. Starter kits? No description at all, other than an item list. For a noob, I have to hop around the parts pages to find descriptions on each item in the kit. What's the led color on the red and blue batteries? I can choose 65mm or 78mm, but what should I get?
The return policy is stated in two different areas, but one has a typo, and SEEMS to say that only shipping is refundable on anything that isn't a starter kit. The other says 100% on all product. What gives?
These are pretty minor gripes. Since I was referred from ECF, I had an excellent resource to find out almost all the questions the Bloog site left me hanging on. Like I said, I'm set on what I'm going to order, eventually.
By the way, I don't need answers about all the above questions. I would LOVE to see this info clarified on the website I intend to do first and repeat business, though!
A forum reply on that return policy would be appreciated.... Please, please, PLEASE don't force me to get those pricey pouches in order to have a full return policy!
(I hate smileys, and there's never one for "I sound serious, because I'm discussing serious business, but I'm not angry.")
