These are the flavors I have to work with. I like menthol and custardy flavors. I want to try something new. So here's what I have:
TFA ripe banana
CAP vanilla custard v2
TFA cheesecake graham crust
TFA blackberry

I have several I've bought from NicVape and I'm not sure who they purchase flavors from, but I have these too:
Ripe strawberry
Cool
Lemon
Cream
Apple

I have 10mL bottles to try new stuff with and then I make 30 mL batches after I get something I like. I make mine 40/60 with either 0mg Nic and sometimes 3mg Nic.

Right now I have strawberry menthol, strawberries and cream, and an apple menthol I'm satisfied with, but I'm looking for a new concoction with what ingredients I already have. Suggestions/recipes please? Thanks!

At a glance, being a dessert juice lover, I'd probably go for a 'Lick the spoon' cake batter type of recipe out of what you have on hand but bear in mind I don't do menthol and am over fruits unless combined in some sort of confectionery type recipe.

Custard v2 12%
Cheesecake Graham Crust 5%
Cream 3%
Lemon 1%

and then add your fruit preference at at about 4%
Do you have any sweeteners, EM, Brown sugar, cotton candy, sucrose-might need 1-2% of any of these.

Well, all speculative you understand..Good luck!

Whoops I just saw there's a recipes forum. My bad. Please move me if needed. Lol!

This is the correct section for your question. :) The recipes section is for posting recipes. Requests for recipes and discussions about DIY in general belong here, where you posted. You did it right. :D

Suggest you are going at this backwards.
1. Try to choose two or three good published recipes which you might like.
2. buy only what you need for those recipes.
3. Play with those 2-3 recipes with %'s/flavors (may need to buy addit. flavors) until you perfect them.
Might like to read/study and follow the following:
DIY Resources
dannyv45's blog | E-Cigarette Forum
Hoosier's blog | E-Cigarette Forum
You will want to scroll down to Sir2fyablyNutz thread, he lists most of the places you can find recipes.

I could think of several suggestions for recipes, but they all take some form of sweetener, which you don't have. For example, I make a NanerBerry that my neighbor and I both really like. It's:

TFA Strawberry Ripe 9%
TFA Banana Cream 6%
Cotton Candy 2%

Maybe your Ripe Strawberry is a sweet strawberry, and you wouldn't need cotton candy. And your TFA Ripe Banana with some of your Cream might be similar to the TFA Banana Cream I use. Could try it!

Thanks! I was trying to avoid buying too many more and hoping some had some recipes with ingredients I already had. But I can get a sweetener. I used to buy a banana cream pie from mount baker vapor years ago and I LOVED it and I've never been able to get close to it. But maybe just the banana and cream together would do the trick. I think I tried to add too much with vanilla custard and cheesecake. Thanks for the replies.

What percentage of banana to cream would you recommend. I know the ripe banana is pretty strong.

This sounds good to try with my blackberry as the fruit. I think I will get a cotton candy to have a sweetener. Looks like a lot of recipes call for it. Thanks!

Hmmmm they only have TFA cotton candy but they have regular cotton candy and then cotton candy (circus). Not sure what the difference is.
Get the regular cotton candy, it's basically "em" sweetener;) I believe the circus version would have a flavor to it. You are lucky to have a local flavor supply. I have to order all of mine.

P. S. Dx Banana Cream from tfa is an awesome banana cream flavor to work with...

Thank you! I will get the regular cotton candy and try that with some new recipes. How long are these flavorings good for? None of mine have any kind of expiration date on them but I would imagine over time they might not have as potent of flavor. The Heartland Vapes smallest sizes are 4oz which for me is A LOT of flavoring. I will have my flavors for quite some time. Lol. That's another reason I was trying not to buy too many more and use what I already had. Thanks for the reply!

Smallest size is 4oz??? Geez!
You need to give Wizard Labs, in FL, a try. They have 8mL vials, 1oz bottles, & 4oz bottles for DIYers! They carry the flavorings from all the popular companies. Also, their Customer Service and packing/shipping care taken can't be beat!

The cost for most of their TFA flavorings there:

8mL vial = $1.49
1oz. bottle = $3.95 (some are higher, majority aren't)
4oz. bottle = $4.50-$8.25 (many are in the middle range)

Their S/H is very reasonable, too! I've ordered multiple vials, some 1oz and 4oz bottles and paid $6.10 for Priority Mail.

Right now, they're having a rare 10% off sale, too, for orders $50+. If it's a $65 order or more...it's FREE S/H. Coupon code "taxbreak" can be used for it! I know you said you don't need/want a lot, but thought I'd put that out there anyway in case you need Nic Base or something, too. Theirs is Organic, and it's very smooth.

About flavorings and how long they last - Unless you're buying extracts (made from actual food products) I wouldn't worry at all how long you have them. Most DIY on here say they've kept and used theirs for a year or more with no problem. A few have said they have some 2+ years old and still use them. Just keep them in a fairly cool place out of the sunlight.

Thank you! I think I will check them out. A few of the flavorings I would use a lot like my strawberry I don't mind having a bigger bottle but some like the banana where I barely have to use any because it is so potent...that 4 oz bottle will be with me for a long time. Lol. I have used wizard labs before for my PG so I have an account with them. I will check them out!

OH! I know what you mean about those 4oz bottles lasting a while, except for some I use for many recipes. For those really strong ones though (like Cinnamon & several others)...I totally understand. I'll have some of those flavorings, even in the little 8mL vial size, for awhile!

Something I've found though with some of the ones that are "bitey" strong...it's because they have Ethyl Alcohol in them. You can evaporate it off though, and it becomes much much smoother and nicer! Your TFA Ripe Banana has it, as well as these that I have from TFA: Strawberry, Juicy Peach, Blueberry Wild, English Toffee, Lemon, Key Lime, and quite a few others. But, I still love them and use them! Several times a day I just shake the heck out of the mix I've used them in (to cause a bunch of bubbles in it), and leave the cap off for 3-4 hours. When the bubbles I caused are gone, I cap it again until the next shaking time later. Do the same for 2-3 days. You'll be amazed how much nicer & smoother it is!

Very rare that they do this cause of their great pricing anyway!!!! Thanks for the heads up. Time to put in another order!!!
