First off, let me start by saying this is my second thread here. My first thread, I was asking about e-cigs, if the site I wanted to use was okay (you guys replied it was.....and IT WAS), and I needed to know what to order. You guys helped me, held my hand.....and it went PERFECTLY. I definitely, without a doubt, have found a home here :) You guys won't be getting rid of me anytime soon :)

For this thread, I have a few specific questions.

1) For someone who smokes a half to a full pack of cigs a day.....about how much e-liquid can I expect to go through daily? Ive heard estimates around 1-2mL. is this correct? (Obviously I know no one can tell me this for sure, but I'm just asking for a very ROUGH estimate).

2) Using the eGo-C Twist battery, and blank BOGE cartomizers, how long/how many puffs should I expect from the cartomizer before I have to top it off again?

3) What is a good volt to vape on using the eGo-C twist? I know it is personal preference, but can someone give me a safe min-max guideline for a newbie like myself? My order came with NO INSTRUCTIONS at all, so I'm kind of clueless on this, lol.

4) How often should I expect to replace cartomizers? I know once I fill it up, and it runs out, I can re-use it, just not sure for how long?

5) Is it normal to still crave cigs? I'm craving them right now (luckily I have a pack), but I'm wondering if this is unusual, or something common? Keep in mind I JUST got my e-cig equipment in the mail TODAY.

6) Is there somewhere I can find instructions for using/loading the Evod BCC clearomizer I got? Again, it came with no instructions. I tried searching youtube, and LUCKILY I found an AWESOME guide by this guy for filling the blank BOGE cartomizers.....the guide worked PERFECTLY (the condom method or whatever). Can someone point me to a youtube vid or forum post where I can find the same thing but for the Evod BCC?

Thanks in advance guys. I realize these questions have no specific answer, and most of the questions require a loose estimation of an answer, but ANY answers will help. :)

Oh, a few more questions:

*) Since my package didn't come with instructions....is there anything else I should know specifically about the eGo-C twist battery / cartomizers/ Evod BCC? For instance, I wouldn't have known about the 5clicks to turn the battery on/off if it wasn't for this forum. Are there other functions I need to aware about?

Are there common mistakes newbies make that might damage the equipment besides the obvious? (like dropping it, etc?)

*) How long should I charge the 1,000mAh and the 650mAh eGo-C Twist batteries? There is a green light on the charger, will it turn red when its done, or should I have timed it from when I started charging it?

Can I try to answer a few?

I smoked 12-18 cigarettes (@1mg) a day. I started vaping on at least 2ml and now vape less.

When I used boge cartos, I'd top them up every 4 or 5 vapes (at 8-10 puffs, maybe more). Better too wet than too dry, although not dripping.

I use VV ego batteries. I vape between 3.3v and 4.0v. never above 4.0 unless I have a fairly high resistance atomiser (2.8 or so).

The evod bcc is straightforward to fill....but might take a bit of practice..... unscrew the bottom end, with the mouthpiece pointing at the floor and drip liquid down the SIDE of the tank, trying to keep liquid out of the centre tube. A little won't matter, but a lot is bad.

If the light is green the batteries are charged.

The average of liquid is variable anywhere from 2 to 10 ml it really depends on how you end up vaping. It is normal at first to go a little overboard to get through cravings. Cravings for cigs are normal as you are only replacing the nic not the other chemicals in cigs.

Pbusardo has some great YouTube vids that show how to fill a clearomizer I will find one and post a link.

No timing necessary, but it's good to know roughly when it'll be charged. Green means charged and the charger should stop......
My chargers are 420mah (all of them, but one) so a 650mah won't be longer than < 2 hours.

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, or what......but I opened my mail at around 1:20pm. Filled up my e-liquid and took my first puffs by around 1:50pm or so. It is 5:26pm, and I've already had to top off my cartos twice. Is this normal? I havent been hitting the e-cig like crazy or anything either.....I've taken maybe 25 hits or so before it seems like it isn't hitting too well, so I opened it up and check, and the top is DRIED out completely (I cant see anything but the top). Is this normal?

THANK YOU! I just got back from dropping someone off at work....and I hadn't refreshed this page before I posted my last post on this thread. Thanks for answering! ESPECIALLY about how often you have to top it off! I was wondering if I had damaged my carto, or was doing SOMETHING wrong! Now I realize I was doing it right :)

How come we have to top off the cartos so much? 3 years ago when I got the pre-filled cartos, it seemed like one cartridge would last 2-3 DAYS. Perhaps I'm remembering it wrong? (Don't think I am)

Also, I started on I think 4.4volts, then went down to 3.8 volts. Thanks for the recommendation, I turned it down to 3.4 volts now.

Dry cartos taste yuck! keep it looking like a slushy on top. depending on the voltage, resistance of cart and liquid you're using it could need a drop very 5-10 puffs. Youtube a couple videos for the evod. at least using that you'll know when you need to refill it. I love my evods.

Also check this for your voltage settings

Yea.....even though I'm at my laptop most of the day....I have a feeling I'll be gravitating towards a big ole' tank prettyyyyyy soon, lol. Even shopping around for the first time on a vaping vendor site....I saw the tanks and was like YEA, THATS ME BABY. haha.

I think my battery wasn't fully charged on the big battery, the 650mAh one is, and now its hitting better so that was probably part of the problem too.

Well if you like the evod get a couple protanks the replacement heads for the evod will fit both. Protank looks nice, Pyrex and SS, I had to pull out the top wicks to get it to hit right with my juice not to difficult check out Pbusardos youtube review.

Slushy is the look when it is saturated. Any more is just gonna become gurgling flood. BUT...the best vapes will not be the first ones you take but rather the last 2-3 before it starts drying out. I topped mine off all the time, lol almost like slow motion dripping.

The only real critical step is don't let it burn dry. Once you taste it, that carto is likely never gonna taste clean and good again.

WOW.......all I have to say is.....WOW.

The EVOD BCC hits SOOOOO much better compared to the cartos. Well, I can't say this is an entirely controlled experiment, because I'm using 2 different e-liquids for both. However, the evod provides more FLAVOR, more VAPOR, more THROAT HIT.

With the carto, I was still craving cigs.

With the evod, not so much.

If the EVOD will continue to work fairly well under daily use, I think I might stick with the EVOD for a while.....maybe buy another one , so that I'll have onef or my bigger ego twist, and one for my smaller one.

I still like the cartos......and I'm very glad I tried them. Hell, it was only $7 for 5 empty BOGE cartos.

However, at $9, the EVOD DEFINITELY kicks ....!

Anyway, I suppose I will be experimenting quite a bit with different add-ons for the ego-twist...and different e-liquids. It'll probably be at least 3-4 months until I find my sweet spot I'm guessing :)

Haha, Pbusardo was the youtube channel I watched to learn how to fill the empty BOGE cartos that I was talking about.

The greatest thing happened just 5 minutes ago. Since I've gotten my e-cig, I've only had 2 regular cigs I think. Anyway, I'm about to go to sleep, and I had the craving for a CIG CIG. So I go downstairs, light one up.....and I only get about 1/4 way through it, before I put it out. I don't think I've EVER done that before.

I just didn't care for it. And to make things even WEIRDER....as I was smoking the cig, I started craving a nice big hit from my egotwist w/ the evod bcc. AWESOME!

One thing the poster earlier forgot to mention is WHY Pyrex or metal are good for tanks. SOME juices can cloud or crack plastic tanks. Cinnamon, things with citric acid. I had a banana nut bread do in a plastic clearo. This does not happen with glass or metal. I believe there is ONE plastic this does not happen with but be danged if I remember what it is called.

awsome chart!

supermarket, I just recently got back into vaping. Tried it a few years ago, got frustrated and went back to analogs. I bought a much better performing kit about a month ago and have finally had some success with getting away from smoking. I was a pack to a pack and a half a day smoker. My daily juice consumption varies, as I'm sure everyone's does.

With my Kanger T3's, I go through about 3ml a day.
With my Vivi Nova Neptune, I go through 3-5ml a day.
Days when I work vs days that I don't work vary by a ml or so.

And that's not to say that my Neptune uses more juice than my T3's. The Neptune seems more consistent and I tend to vape more when I use it.

YMMV

If you are using low nicotine level eliquid, yes it is normal to crave smoking.

I always recommend starting out at 24mg nicotine level and moving up or down depending on your cravings.

Same here! Once I got a decent setup, it was so much easier to stay away from the analogs. I'm down to 2-3 analogs a day from almost a pack a day (sometimes more), so I'm pretty happy with that for now.
