OK, following crxess' comments. Based on my samples available, which are 4 T3Ss and two 5-packs of spare PT/EVOD replacement coil heads... A Protank/EVOD coil head will screw into a T3S base, but, because of the larger (10mm vs 9mm) head base plate, it will not screw into the 9.35mm inside diameter of the T3/T3S clearo body. So, there ya' go.

I have not been able to use my EVOD heads in my MT3S tanks. They fit the base but don't screw in correctly. After reading the post by State o' Flux (love the name!) I now understand why. Thank you. I thought it was just me and I was doing something wrong. I also find that my Pro tank tends to flood more quickly with the evod head. However, I like the draw better so I just keep it pretty full all the time.

Glad you like the name... it describes my mental state - full of flux.

You won't have to worry much longer about EVOD coil heads as I'm guessing they'll be drying up fairly quickly... as Protank/EVOD heads take over vendor inventories.
