No opinions on Kanger's KBOX 200W TC Box mod? Or Kanger in general?
I don't see a lot of postings on that mod but am tagging @IMFire3605 who has one.

I don't own any Kanger mods but I do like their subtank mini for under 50 watt vaping. Their top tank mini is an upgrade to it.

Lots of love for the Wismec Reuleaux RX200 (3 cell mod). Priced at around $40. Will be ordering one soon.

The problem with all these calculators is they all need me to tell them the ending total of all ingredients, which in my case that's kind of what I need it to tell me. I have a starting point of 28ml at 5% flavor and 8mg/ml nic and need to have it tell me how much flavor to add to get to 10%. Sadly none I've seen so far can do that without me telling it how much I want make. The point is that's the one thing I can't tell it accurately. Looks like I'll just have to keep doing it the old fashioned way lol.

It's not hard to do the math yourself. Remember all those "word problems" you had to do in math class? Yeah, you learned them for a reason. "Bruce C has some e-liquid with 5% flavor. How much flavor should he add so that the resulting mix is 10% flavor? Give your answer as a percent of the original volume."

We want to add "some amount" (call it "X") of flavor, such that 5 (the amount of flavor you start with, in percent) plus X (the amount of flavor you add in), divided by 100+X (the amount of liquid you'll end up with after adding x-amount of flavor) is equal to ten percent, or 0.1. So, that's five plus x, over 100 plus x, equals 0.1. Now we just have a plain old math problem to figure out:

(5+x)/(100+x) = .1

...easy peasy. Just combine like terms and simplify:

5+x = .1(100+x)
5+x = 10 + .1x
5 + .9x = 10
.9x = 5
x = 5 / 0.9

So x is equal to 5 / 0.9, equal to exactly 50/9 or approx. 5.5555...

So you need to add 5.55555...% of the original volume of liquid. If that (what you started with) is 28ml, then 5.5555...% of 28ml is 1.5555...ml.

I know how to do trigonometry by hand too. There's a reason we invented electric hand calculators. There's also a reason people made e-liquid calculators. To save time and prevent human error. Just look at the length of your post. As I stated in a previous post that's how I've been doing it!

There are-- I forget-- 5 or 6 different calculators on the link I posted, from simple to complex, one of which allows you to remix existing juices.

Edit: the answer to your question is implicit, however. If you have 28ml at 5%, it contains 1.4ml of flavor. Adding another 1.4ml would bring the total volume to 29.4ml and the flavor to 2.8ml, or 9.5238%. Adding 1.5ml of flavor would bring the totals to 29.5 and 2.9ml, or 9.8305%. That's about as close as you can measure it, without some pretty specialized gear...


LMAO Yes I have been doing the same by hand calculating you demonstrated. I just would rather at this stage be lazy and let some calculator do the work, and also minimize any mistakes by me. When I received my last order of flavors I had intended to make 5ml of each at 5%. However, because it was late, I was tired, and semi-braindead, I mixed 30ml of each at 5% (thank god I didn't start at 20% like my first batch). At any rate I'll go look and see if I overlooked something in those various calculators. The one you linked to (I've only used the simple one so far) is my favorite so far.
