So it's been 34 days now since I got my ego-t and juice in the mail. I loved it right from the start, although I came to realize that the thing ended up tasting better once the atty got broken in, probably the primer fluid. I'll know better when I have to break in the next atty.

Still going strong with the first atty though, I blow it out every couple of days and do 3 or 4 short bursts of dry burnof a couple of seconds each, and then prime it with a drop of juice, then let it sit horizontal for a bit, keeps the thing running great. This thing is perfect for me, the perfect throat hit, great taste, nowhere near the vapor production as you see in the vids with other PVs, I don't want a lot of vapor though, this is the perfect amount for me. I couldn't be happier with the thing.

I'm still doing the hybrid thing, smoke analogs whenever I want which is a lot less often. I'll quit only when I don't want analogs anymore, I'm finding that as I'm going on it's a few less a day than when I started. I've never had any interest in quitting really in the 33 years I've been smoking, although I may end up there with this, but am not interested in going through any withdrawal. I do feel a lot better though having cut down over a pack a day.

I'm now in the black though, I bought the kit plus 2 bottles of juice, then bought 4 more bottles later along with an extra atty and three 5 packs of extra empts tank carts. So it cost me $275 altogether, still have everything but about 2/3 a bottle of juice, and am ahead about $75 now, all in all I've saved about $350 on analogs and it's cost me about $15 including a couple of carts I threw away from not knowing what I was doing.

So since then I discovered that if you draw easy on the thing you get a better vape and don't ruin the carts by getting juice in the mouthpiece, so these 15 extra will probably do me for awhile. As far as the juices go, I mostly vape 28 mg raspberry, also have cherry, blueberry, and watermelon, all from evapors. Love the raspberry, cherry isn't too bad, it's a little thicker though and doesn't vape quite as well, blueberry is a little too light on taste, and the watermelon for some reason doesn't seem to have the same nic kick puff for puff. Of them I'll likely only re-order the raspberry, and have 2 extra 30s of that already. I'll probably try out some more, maybe a couple of JC flavors although I'm not sure I'll like the weaker 24mg as much.

Ego-t totally kicks ... though in terms of the convenience, I swap out the batteries every day or two, probably should do it every day to be easier on them but I don't always remember, but can get 2 days of vaping and lots to spare given they still charge pretty fast. Just plug the usb charger into my computer, half an hour later it's good to go, little longer if it's been 2 days. Take out the tank 2 or 3 times a day and a few drops from the bottle and it's topped off, way too easy. I like to top off more frequently rather than let the juice get too far down, got a tip from someone on here to do that and it makes sense.

So I consider myself a lifer now and wouldn't ever want to be without vaping. I've thought about other devices or mods but when it comes down to it, while I have no problem spending a bunch more money on all of this, in the end I really can't see why as I'm so damn happy with what I'm using now I can't see improving on it.

Glad things are going well and you are happy with your ego-t. Being happy with your PV is very important and everyone has their favourites.

I have tried that raspberry and enjoyed it too. I love my JC ones though and to be honest I never found much difference between the 28mg and the 24mg. Not I vape 18mg and 14mg and don't find much difference between them either.

Glad to hear its going good so far.

One of the great things with vaping is that each individual can choose what works best for themselves. Dropping analogs all together (like me) or vaping with some analogs on the side (like you) until you choose to only vape. Whatever system works, whatever pace works - we all now have this wonderful thing called a choice.

With cigarettes we were fooled by thinking we had a choice by being able to choose a brand to smoke, but really, they were all just tobacco flavor. With vaping we have a choice of flavor and choice of pv. Its the most free will way of getting our nicotine and with every draw off my reo, I love the fact that I'm pissing off the governments, HC and tobacco companies.

Congratz for being a month in to the wonderful world of vaping :)

That's pretty much my story too. I may have one smoke to start the day, but that's it.
I'm going through more liquid and attys though, probably sucking on the ego way more than you but
I'm using 16 mixed with a bit of 24. I'm hoarding what's left of my 24.
This is the first I've heard of someone having no cleaning regimen other than the occasional blow. Mine seem to clog up after about a week and it's downhill from there no matter what I do.
I suspect that the massive vapour production we see in videos is due to front lighting from the PC; blowing into the light and camera simultaneously.

Well thanks Neon for turning me on to all of this! I've known Neon for a few years but hadn't seen him for awhile, he let me give it a try which ended up getting me hooked. At that point I couldn't wait for the stuff to come in the mail :)

With the ego-t it seems to be more a matter of drawing long and slow rather than just slow. The more drawing pressure you put on the cart the more likely it will be to fail. So for me anyway it's not short draws it's long easy ones :) Probably no different than we all vape once we get a little experienced though, versus a total newbie sucking hard on the thing :)

Thanks to everyone for all the encouraging comments, this is a great community and in particular the Canadian forum.

I don't think that any of this is an accomplishment, for me anyway, I've just found a lot better way to get nicotine. I'm feeling a lot better that's for sure and that's the exciting thing for me, and expect that this will continue. I also expect I'll be able to cut down more on the analogs as time goes on, I'm not too worried about that though and will just let that happen as I'm able to go longer between them without any discomfort.

Speaking of that, I've mentioned using supplements to help with the transition off of analogs, and what I've found works pretty well is sam-e, like many supplements though it's very overpriced here in Canada. For instance you can get a bottle of 30x200 here for about $34 including tax, I get all of my supplements these days from vitacost.com, 30x400, twice as much, for $18, no tax. Anyone having trouble getting off the analogs, the big thing that bites you is the depression, and analogs have an anti-depressant in it, so when you're off that then an angry depression can take over as most people who have tried to quit will attest to. So if you want to give sam-e a try, and want to pick up a bottle here first, get the Webber brand if you can, 400 mg once or twice a day depending on what you have to spend, even if you have already quit you'll probably like the improved mood you get from it ;) Then if you end up really liking it as you probably will then you can get it a lot cheaper from the states, although you'll need to order more than just a bottle as there are modest shipping costs, 6 bucks or something, although if you are in to supplements they have a lot better deals on everything :)

Vape on brothers and sisters!

Thanks for sharing that link for the sam-e CK !!

I looked into S-adenosylmethionine a ways back when I finally got fed up enough and eliminated all pharmaceutical analgesics/opiates and anti-depressants out of my daily intake. I just couldn't endure the side effects any longer, and never really felt they did much aside from altering a perspective while instilling another.

Have you set on a manufacturer ? which one, and why ? I'd like to look into this again myself, as my GP has given me the cold shoulder ever since chewing her out for dismissing my memory issues following being hit by a car and suffering a head injury as "getting older" (further proven, at my great expense of a specialist as brain matter damage), along with multiple fracture pain now turned arthritis pain, and quit being a pawn in the "pill pushing" game of unnecessary BP poisoning she has become a master of.

Thanks in advance for any info..

It's supposed to be pretty generic although I've found that some brands just tend to work better than others. There's a fair bit of difference in standards and quality control with supplement manufacturers. Here in Canada I like Webber although there isn't a lot of choice, from the states Doctor's Choice is good, a good deal, and also has some good reviews from people who have tried several brands and this ends up being their fav. You can't go too far wrong with this though although freshness seems to be much more of an issue than with other supplements, so if you see some on sale because it's going to expire soon, stay away from that.

This isn't a miracle pill by any means but IMO anyway is the best natural mood elevator around, it's so damn expensive here but you can get it much cheaper through vitacost. Sam-e will also help with your arthritis issues. Given what you've said, I'd also recommend the house brand of vinpocetine (NSI), it's a great deal, you get 4 months supply of 10mgx2 a day for $15. This will sharpen your mind up and there really isn't anything as good out there as far as that goes. Good luck!
