AS thrasher pointed out when you put in a fresh charged battery you can see a difference but to be honest I cant tell much difference in how my Poldiac, GG, ELA, Nzinic, and EA mod or any of the mechs hit after 10 minuts of vaping. I can tell a difference in build quality is it worth the price? I think so cause I like to collect em but I dont carry around my 200 pulse mods very much but Ill shove my EA in my pocket and take it everywhere.

You might also get verified and keep an eye to the classys sometimes a golden oldy will pop up for a good price. People like thrasher buy stuff and use lovingly then sell it at a little less than retail so they can keep trying stuff then people like me can buy it and it will never be seen again other than an occasional picture posted on ECF;-)

There are lots of very nice mods out there that will give you years and years of good use with a little care. It good to have your unicorns but its good to have your everyday mods to.

I was just coming back to recommend this, there are always deals floating by in there.

LOL! i look at it as try before you buy, in a sense i get to rent a nice mod for a couple months to see if its what im looking for, as for the harder to get items and learning about stuff i never knew existed the classies have been my best friend

Also, forgive me if this is a stupid question...but what do you guys think of all the clones floating around..ex (Chi-You, Bagua, Caravela's)

As I search for a lot of the example's you guys have posted (paps, nzonic, poldiac, etc etc), I've been coming across a lot of relatively cheap clones. Now I realize that many, if not all, are just cheap Chinese versions of these devices, but what surprised me the most, Is how many people say that they are pretty good quality...

I mean, I want my first Mech to be a good proven one, that is highly recommended. But is it a bad idea to spend 30-50 bucks on a cheap clone?

Any thoughts/input:

I've actually hear people talking about getting great deals or finding rare mods in the classifieds, but I never considered it until now..
So basically, I take the steps to become a verified member, and then.. just browse postings of people selling/buying? is it kind of like craigslist?

Yea you gotta be on your toes lots of silly prices to but lots of good deals also. Its pretty ease to see the flippers wanting to make a profit, verses some one just trying to get back most of what they payed for a near new mod. Sometime there will be a great deal but you gotta act fast.

If your handy you can negotiate the price a little because of a scratch or two its a little work but you can buff them out with a dremmel or bench grinder and buffing wheel.

Dont be afraid to PM someone with a fair offer I do it alot just make a standing offer if they dont get their asking price they might sell at your offer. But if its a hot Item forget it Id advise waiting till the next hot Item comes along and its not so in demand. Cruze the other sight also Vaporwall is a good place to find some good stuff. Sometimes sign up lists for stuff is fun if you dont mind waiting.

Its getting harder as we grow so more competition for the same stuff but I think its fun to set my sights on a mod then track it down at a price Im comfortable with paying.

dead on. lots of good folks in there and usually a listing, a description and a couple pics with the price and shipping details.

an example: the poldiac is right under 200 from MMV plus around 20 shipping from greece.

I just picked one up in the classies with an extra tube and top in a different finish in mint condition under 200 shipped.

last year i got a chrome provari with blue led and 650 extension for 95 bucks, a set well over 200 retail (when they still sold chrome, making it even more rare)
there are some people asking too much sometimes but others just want to move the items.

personally they dont bother me either way. i have a 20 dollar clone that is used to build and test coils and nothing else.

the quality is getting better and enough people will always support the modders who make the real ones so a win win. many are ok some are questionable. and theres nothing wrong with starting cheap to get the feet wet i think, while some are pretty nice for efficiency i have yet to see one match or pass the overall build quality of the top shelf stuff

if it wasnt for my mech clone i would never have wanted a nice one, same for my genisis atty's my first was a 15 dollar copy that worked ok, but it helped me decide that yea i will spend 150 on the one i really want to vape all day on.

Thats a weekly thread around here;-) I have never seen a 30$ imitation that is anywhere close to the real thing. From a pic yea but not in person with the exception of a couple of atomizers but the those clones are not cheap ether.

Give it a try grab a clone the best one you can find of a mod you know your going to buy then decide for your self. Hell you might be happy with the price and quality reduction and save your self a bunch of money. Its a pretty individual thing and a never ending argument amongst vapors;-)

Thanks, you know, from all the different things I've ever was interested in life and hobbies, (fishings, sports, cars, etc etc etc) Vapers have been some of the most helpful and genuine people I've ever met. I think it's awesome. It really feels like one big community helping each other, instead of criticizing one another.

Ha your new stick around awhile that goes away;-) No This Forum is a great place everyone likes to help out. The difference between here and RC planes is we are trying to improve our quality of life by not smoking so inspite of all of the differences we share a common bond none of us want to smoke and or see others smoke who are ready to quit.

So this post has nothing to do with this thread, I just wanted to share. Because I know it probably happens to most vapors (unless i'm just an idiot and made a rookie mistake lol) I had a bit of a vaping emergency haha

So I'm sitting vaping away on some 18mg Boba's Bounty (delicious btw) in my Evod clearo and I realized that it wasn't making a proper connection. I double check this by checking the ohms readout on my device. It read NON, so I knew it definitly wasn't making a connection. I go to twist off the EVOD and I accidently twisted off the top portion on a fully filled clearo.. We'll I guess you can sort of use your imagination about what happened next.

Basically got all over my pants, all over my SVD, and the evod. And Boba's isn't exactly a thin liquid either. Looks a bit like runny syrup. Anyways cleaned it all up, my Evod is still a little sticky but whatever.

Problem is, There is a ring that goes on top of the SVD that you can screw on/off. It has 2 airholes in it, which is nice for tanks/attys/etc with no airpathways, but I rarely take it off. And when it's on, I cant screw the clearo off from the bottom because I don't have access to it.. SVD Ring.jpg

Consider that lesson learned :)

just wanted to share
