Heeeeelp please

I use the HS VAPOURMX eGO-ce4 and I am using the iBreathe candy floss flavored (mid strength) liquid. I want a little help this is my first vape and I don't wanna break the thing and I want to extend the battery life for as long as possible. So, bearing that in mind;

1) What tips do you have to help me extend this battery life. I have no idea how long the battery will last yet but had the intention of sticking it on charge overnight so its ready in the morning, is there any major problems with this?

2) Im getting a lot of condensation on the interior mouthpiece its not a massive problem but not the best i'm putting it down to the low price but should I clean it say at night?

3) What angles can I hold this at, I like to smoke lying down but i don't know if that's alright given the model etc, more costly models I have seen to be fine to hold at almost any angle and work but I don't want to shorten the life of it.

4) Bear with me with this one (i'm a little strange I mean i'm the kind of person who doesn't mix the end of one bottle of coke with the start of another) but what do I need to know about the cleaning of it? Do I vape until all of the liquid is fully gone or just til there is a little left? I don't mind refilling it with the same flavor but I don't fancy candyfloss + peaches&mint if you get my drift so will it cause a big problem or is it just something I can disregard?
Do I puff til there's nothing left or is it like dry boiling a kettle? Who knows -not me

Sorry about the length of this but yah i'm a n0ob at this so any input would be amazing.

Looks like your standard ce4, does it fill by removing the mouthpiece? If so, take the battery off the ce4 then remove the mouth piece. Dump the remaining juice out and rinse the ce4 under the faucet a few times. Fill it with your juice of choice put the mouth piece back on and reattach to the battery. First couple vapes will be just water so no vapor. Once the water burns off the juice will wick.

Battery life depends on the size of the battery and how much you vape. It's not variable voltage so that does not matter. 650mah will last usually 6 hours constant vaping where as a 1200mah roughly 12 hours. I run a 2000mah battery in my Provari and it lasts me a good 24 hours at 4.0 - 4.2 volts all day vaping.

If the wick is at the top then no problems with vaping while laying down, I guess that goes for bottom coils also. I lay in bed and vape all the time with Aerotank V2 (bottom coil).

Charging your battery overnight all depends on your charger. If it auto shuts off then yes you can. I have 2 chargers that auto shut off.

Check the manufacturer website to find out if yours will auto shut off.

1. Get a second battery. (You really need a backup, and a back up for your backup) This will also allow you to charge one fully, which will help extend battery life some what. (Also remember, an ego battery is still a throw away battery.. don't expect it to last forever.)
2. Vaping does draw out moisture, expect the condensation. Clean as you need to.
3. Just about any angle you can draw with and not suck up the liquid will work. Top coil clearos (like the ce4) might need more higher angles to ensure the liquid reaches the coils)
4. If you're only going to refill, try to do so at above 1/4 tank to help keep the clearo from flooding. You can generally rinse them out with hot water and be good for a new flavor, but don't count on it working as well. A CE4 is normally a disposable clearo although there are those that can rebuild it. CE5's are normally made to be rebuildable, and thus easier to clean.

I always recommend that vapers have two ego sized batteries, so that one can charge while you're vaping the other. A 650 mAh battery should last about 6 hours, 800 should last 8, etc... Many believe you shouldn't charge a battery overnight, so that you can oversee it while charging for safety reasons. I've always done it overnight though, without a problem. Most of the batteries are the same you would find in your cell phone, so I haven't treated them any differently. Just be sure you are using only the charger that it came with, as that should deliver the power to the battery at the right rate.

CE4's are mostly disposable. Some have the removable heads though, in which case you would be able to replace the heating coil. Those do wear out over time, as well as collect gunk from the vaporized liquid. There are ways to clean the coil. Some soak in alcohol like Everclear, some boil, some dry burn. You can look up videos on dry burning on youtube. Ultimately though, I do recommend that you get another tank. There are much better out there, for not much money. These tanks, or "clearomizers" have removable and replaceable heads that will allow you to keep the tank, but replace the part that heats and vaporizes the liquid. Look up Evods or the MT3s. The coils are down by the base of the tanks, and are easy to replace and maintain. I think I've seen some places sell them for as low as $4.00.

As to how to hold it, a CE4 has the coil up by the mouth piece. As a result, as the liquid gets lower, you may have to tilt it to soak the coil in liquid. As long as there is liquid to vaporize up by the coil, it doesn't really mater how you hold it while you vape.

Hi There! Welcome to the forums :)

1. Not 100% familiar with the ce4, but I'm presuming that it will flash when it doesn't have enough power left on it to fire. At that point, put it on the charger (it may already have some amount of charge on it, for being new.) I often charge my batteries overnight - you'll probably get a lot of pros and cons to this, but thusfar, I've not had any issues.

2. I'm guessing the condensation is from the vapor re-liquifying after you take your draw because you've not cleared the mouthpiece. I will fire my button, take a draw, release the button, and then finish the draw to pull the remaining vapor in the chamber.

3. The topper looks like a top-coil, so there may be some times when your tank is getting low that you might have to tip it to help get some of the last juice up to the coils. Check out this YouTube video:
EGO-CE4 e-Cigarette (EGO-CE4) Kit - HOW TO USE - Review - Unlimited It might help answer some other questions along the way....

4. I vape my tanks until I just get that "burnt" hit. However, with the longer wicks, there will still be a bit of residual that can mix with the next flavor. I don't have a link handy, but google "dry burn ce4" to find some instructions on how to clean the tank and "refresh" the coils to help extend the life. You can also get a few more toppers and/or replacement coils. Sometimes, I'll pull the coil from the tank and drop it in a bit of unflavored vodka - especially when I'm doing a major flavor change in that tank. Tanks themselves, I usually rinse with hot water, or even do a full-blown wash with soapy water. Make sure to rinse completely (vaping soap - BAAAAAAD)

I have a couple iClear 16 tanks and a handful of replacement coils, but my primary tanks are mostly EVODs for which I rebuild or rewick those coil heads myself. That way, I never have to worry about mixing incompatible flavors :D I don't want to fathom rebuilding dual coils like the ce4 or iClear 16. Not in my realm of interest (so I don't use those tanks very often)

Keep asking questions - plenty of folk out here willing to answer for you

Enjoy the :vapor:

My thoughts.

1) Li-Ions will last around 300 charges. How long will the battery last between charges, depends on your coil and your vape style. I am assuming that is a 3.7v no variable. When I used a 320 mah it would last me basically 30 minutes into work and 15 minutes home. Others will last longer. Most of these li-ion have a 14 day guarantee. Why do I mention this? It may last 30 days or may last a couple years. Charging varies by your risk tolerance.. I personally would not charge overnight. If you do at least do it near your bed so you can wake up in case something happens. A link to read.. http://batteryuniversity.com/learn/article/how_to_prolong_lithium_based_batteries

2) Condensation happens on all mouth pieces. It's vapor. I clean with a cotton swab. You have to clean it anyway. Think of the amount of time it spend in your mouth. Cotton ball with alcohol works nicely or if the driptip comes out.. wash with soap and water )of course rinse).

3)I don't go above 90 degrees. There are some angle driptips that you may be able to. Test it and see. A lot of vaping is personal.

4)You can vape until a little is left or until you start getting dry hits. Side note. I mix everything together and wolf it down. You will be surprised.... What you think you would like may not be and what you think you won't like you just may. Some very good combinations have come from mixing liquids. Who knows... candyfloss + peaches&mint may be delicious vaped. If it just a tiny left.. usually it goes away after 10 or so puffs. Of course each individual is an "individual".

Side note. Get backups.
