OK...I have the strangest issue again with my GGTS (newest one). I have isolated the issue to the fuse upgrade. Here is my question. The plastic piece that screws into the bottom cap...should the end of the fuse kit (metal piece) touch the end of the plastic...as in being level with the end plastic cap? When I screw my fuse kit into the plastic piece there is a lot of spare room which I think is what's causing my vape to be nearly non-existent. If I use my old spring in the bottom cap...the metal piece is longer and vapes like a champ. Imeo sent me a new fuse kit, but it has the same problem. Can anyone suggest something or am I completely off base on my findings?

are you running at 3.7v? the bits of the fuse should be isolated from each other, only connecting through the spring. Clean the inside of the fuse post with some sandpaper, also clean the metal threads on the top cap of the fuse, and then screw the spring on to those threads, two or three coils of the spring should be on there... I've found I had to recently polish those threads to get performance back to where it was before...

No. If I don't use the fuse upgrade at all and switch to the spring that came up with GGTS is when I get good vapor. If I put the fuse upgrade on...nearly nothing, most of the times nothing at all.

Zai, ggero asked "if you remove the fuse spring with its plastic piece you can get a good vapor production?"

If your answer is a "no" I have to tell you that this impossible.

clean the lips of the fuse tube, clean the base of your battery too. Now remove the fuse spring with its plastic piece and keep only the tube of the fuse. Vape. Then put again the fuse (plastic+spring) and vape. Is it ok now?

Zai, did you check your fuse spring? Is it shrinked? If yes then the spring cant keep big current through it, its made like this to avoid shorts. So if you let big amount of current through it it will get damaged because this is its purpose. If you want to allow bigger current via fuse then double the amount of springs inside fuse.

I have no idea what's happening at this point. I changed the AVS to a 901 LR and now it works great. I took the LR 510 atty that wasn't working with the fuse into a different PV and it works fine. Who knows...

Zaiden,
I feel your pain, I hate when something like this, drives ya nuts....It can be hard to narrow it down to the problem... But it sounds like something is up with your fuse spring, or something of that nature. I mean, if ya remove the fuse, you get great vapor, so something is up there.

Hope ya get a handle on it, I know how frustrating it can get...
