The only drawing I have is the one in post #20 If that is not the one everybody wants I will need a drawing of the one they prefer. We may need to have a vote to see which version we will run. I personally want a universal one that will attach to just about any 510 device.

If the provape is the one with the large hollow bottom I don't know if we would be able to get 100 orders as I don't know how many people would actually have a use for it. But that is what we need to know. I could find out how much my uncle would charge to run a couple of the other models at the same time as the top end would be the same but because he will have to tool differently for the bottom he will probably charge more for the small amount of different ones. I don't know if he could stay under $20 for one of those depending on how many. Also I need a specific drawing for it.

I almost have the wife talked into moderating the co-op =] If I did it I would mess something up and wind up paying a fortune out of my own pocket to correct it =]
I just have to convince her it won't be anything like when she volunteered to be the bowling league secretary... good lord was that a nightmare.

If we do get this going I think we should at least include the SS mesh into the co-op. From what I am seeing it is fairly expensive and you don't need the amount that is the minimum order amount. Also if somebody could research the other parts we can see about adding them in as well. I don't think the tubing would be a good idea to add however unless I ruff cut them a bit longer than needed and then you can fine tune them to the proper size. I am thinking 2 tubes per body cut to 3.5" or 4" long, have to keep enough material on there to run a cutter around the end.

Yup that helps.
I just got off of the phone with my uncle and he had a couple of more dimension questions.
He needs the width of the positive wire gap and the dimensions of the beveled portion on the bottom.

Positive wire gap is .0625
Bottom bevel is .241 long and .057 up

This help?

Unless I got the wrong stuff, I got 2 sheets from scubabatdans noted vendor and paid $15.00 bucks for it. They sent me double of what I ordered.

I will help out in any way needed. I wouldn't have started this thread if not. As far as tank design, if your uncle is already working this current one out in his head, it would be a shame for us to switch it around on him. I'm pretty sure this design would be 510 universal. Even with a provari you could probably use a 510-510 adapter if needed (assuming it's not the provari version). Even a longer thread adapter would work im sure. I'm going to look into that today. I'll send scubabatdan a pm.

Great design Scuba but a draftsman you are not. lol I have received prints like that as a machinist and cringed that is a lot of time spend visiting the engineer getting definitive dimensions even for some of the things that are labeled.

Never claimed to be, I guess I could just stop posting them.

Dan,
You have probably given more to this forum than most. You have helped lots of vapors find their happy place. Never stop. That was a dickk remark indefinitely. So many look to you for advice and ideas. People like yourself, and raidy are turning average vaping into remarkable. Thank you for that.

Sorry, was not in a good mood when I read that, I am sure he was joking around. No harm no foul. I am just an IT guy and work on computers for a living and love to work with my hands. Most of the plans I draw up are in powerpoint. I do try and get all the dimensions listed sorry if they are not up to snuff. Well do not worry I will continue to post my creations and hopfully someone will benifit from them.
Peace out...
Dan

Just wanted to give everyone following this thread an update. Behind the scenes this IS being worked on. I'm hesitant to give definite details until I feel it is a lock. I believe that I'm about 85-90% there. Another ECF'r has graciously stepped up and offered his services to help the cause. And of course the help of scubabatdan who has been answering my horribly Annoying ... everytime I ask him something. As long as what I'm working on goes through, I should be posting the details of how this will go down within a few days.

Thanx

Mike
