Hey everyone i am on the fence about what to get next as a ecig for when i am out and about i want something with more of a consistent hit battery life etc and ease of use on the go. i have narrowed it down to either a kr808d-1 or a em riva with drip tips. i am currently using a m401 which is good most of the time but occasionally a hassle when on the run i use it primarley for dipping.

What are peoples thoughts on the kr808d1 or Riva/Tornado etc

The riva / ego / tornado have the bigger batteries ( riva 750 mA, reg ego 650 mA, there is also a 900 mA ego battery avail, not sure but I think tornado is 650 mA) The higher the mA the longer a battery will go between charges. No sure on the kr808 what the avail batteries are in mA but think it will be in the 200 to 300 range. The riva type is a little bigger in diameter ( about the size of AA battery). There are cartos avail for use with riva type which a lot of people like to use for when they are out. You can also check on adapters to see if you can find one that will allow use of your m401 equipment with what ever you decide to get.

To sum it up I would get the riva type and a few cartos.

You could get one of the best there is, which is what I have. A Chuck from Thagbuilt.com. The Chucks come in 3.7v or 6v, and the 3.7v is an ACTUAL true 3.7v mod, unlike the models I listed below which run at 3.0-3.2 volts instead of 3.7. Also the Chuck is customizable. You can put any graphic you want on it and can pick the color of the body.
Also, the 3.7v chuck (little chuck) and the big chuck (6v or 3.7v) both use outside batteries, meaning that if you need a new battery you can just go to radioshack to get them instead of having to buy a whole new e-cig battery. Much more convenient.

You should really try out a 510 to see if you like it. 510 is one of the most popular atty setups. The 510 I pretty much the most available model out there. Most all vendor sites you go to will carry the parts.

With that said, the Riva is a great choice. Or the eGo/Tornado. I would suggest a mega battery for improved (GREATLY IMPROVED) battery life. All of those models are 510 compatible, and if you use the LOW RESISTENCE 510 attys on them, it really doesn't get much better than that. Just my suggestion, good luck!
