Info for the new ecig users
This is JUST my personal recommendation for the new users:Do NOT buy the 7-11 or other convenience store kits, they are junk.
Shop anywhere you want, just don't buy them.

A simple way to put this, "you get what you pay for".

So... you need:
1. A battery (2 recommended, because you don't want to end up having a non-charged battery)
2. A charger to charge the battery (or batteries)
3. A "heating element", ie: the atomizer, cartomizer, clearomizer. (Again, more than 1 recommended)
4. Some e-juice or e-liquid.

The above items are all you need to get started.

Now, MY recommendations would be the eGo Twist battery. It is the latest design and "Variable Volts", meaning you can adjust the voltage (with a knob on the bottom) to go from 3.2 to 4.8 volts. If it's to weak, turn it up, if it's to strong, turn it down. Simple.

With that battery you will need a charger: the eGo USB 450 mAh Charger.

Beyond that is tough because of personal prefs. But a great starter, and easy to add juice to is the Vision V3 Clearomizer, the Kanger T3 and/or the Kanger T2. (Again, 2 recommended)
I recommend getting the clearomizers in (around) the 2.4 oHm rating.

Juice, get some eJuice, aka eLiquid. Start with midrange of 18mg.

Ok, so all this arrived today...now what?
1. Charge the battery for a good 2-3 hours for the initial charge. After that takes less time.
2. Unscrew the mouthpiece form the clearomizer.
3. Add eJuice to fill it about halfway.
4. Screw the clearomizer onto the battery.
5. Push the button on the battery and "drag" on the mouthpiece about 3-5 seconds (while holding the button).
IMPORTANT: if you get nothing, the battery is not turned on. Push the button 5 times within 1.5 seconds to turn it on or "unlock it". (Doing this again will turn it off so you can safely carry it in your pocket)

That's about all there is to it, it's not rocket science.
Simple, the battery heats a "coil" which heats the eLiquid, which turns to a vapor, which you inhale.

That's it for now.

Please add your opinion...;)

Ah, thanks. Finally moving to VV, I honestly wasn't sure if lower ohms/volts was better, worse or the same and higher ohms/volts.

On a twist, middle of the road is best due to the voltage range available and also the amp limit. Too high and you will be in the upper end all the time to get a decent vape, too low and you will be on the low to avoid a burnt taste, or end up just limited by the amp rating of the switch to around 3.7volts. 2.4ohms should let you work from a cool mellow vape to a warm intense vape with plenty of wiggle room in between.

There are devices that have a bigger range but I think the Rick's recommendation is solid for those starting out or just stepping up to VV. If you take it slow and learn, you'll avoid the "I can't believe I spent x amount of dollars on this" moment. Once you get more familiar, go nuts.
