I recently cleaned my atty and now there is something blocking the airholes. It's not a residue clog and seems to be a plastic material, anyone know what it could be?
Is it a 901 atty? Same thing happened to me on a 901 atty. I think I read once that somebody ripped apart one kind of 901 atty and found it had plastic mounting for the coil. With one of mine I got the plastic out of the way by screwing the atty on then twisting the tube a bit relative to the metal threaded part. I imagine that could probably break an atty too so use idea at your own atty's risk.
There is some other kind of compatible atty some people prefer - let me try to find that info
very simple fix, grab a strong needle, you will be able to slip it in the hole if you angle it, then you can force the plastic piece to the side a bit, or do as the dormouse suggested and just over tighten it to move it, I like to go the other way and put it back where it belongs instead though.!
