OK, so...many of you know I've been back on analogs while I wait for my sparkplug to arrive due to the cratering of my cheapo smoke shop ecig kit.

One of the things I've really noticed (besides my chest aching, the horrible stench, and tasting like an ash tray) is the LACK of TH and vapor (OK...smoke) production from these silly things. If this analog were a PV, I'd toss the silly thing!

Can't wait to get my sparkplug!! I did check out the emergency loan and PIF threads...but I was raised against borrowing stuff. I'm still trying to get my PV situation worked out and really would hate to have to replace someone else's equipment if anything happened to it. I will be ordering some backup though soon as well, so I never have to smoke these dumb things again!!

Hi Carpe ... I absolutely agree with you about the low TH and vapor with the analogs ... isn't it funny? I began vaping 1 mo. ago tomorrow, but am still ... for UNknown reasons ... having about 6 analogs a day ... and I haven't a clue as to why! EVERYtime I smoke one, I think to myself, "Hey! This isn't nearly as satisfying as my eGo rig!" .... and yet it's as if I keep having to "test out" that theory with a VS Light six times a day. Dumb, dumb dumb! But since I used to smoke a ppd+, right now I'll not kick myself for the 6 analogs. Sheesh!

The emergency post is actually fair to use, and there are a good number of vapers in TX. Over time many of us build up a bit of a HW stash, willing to share it for an honest whoops encountered by people.

I hope that you enjoy your sparkplug as much as many others do. Note that it is good to obtain a backup anyhow, over time. It can be a spare generic 808/510/whatever battery, with charger, or a passthrough with 2A USB wall wart (or cig lighter adapter).

Good luck!

Good luck to you... I'm sort of in the same boat. I tried out the Joye510 and found it to be much too weak, went back to analogs for over a year but will be giving it another shot when my new GLV arrives (I can't wait). Hope you enjoy your sparkplug. Let us know how you do.

And completely off subject - I see you play bass. What bands do you like? Do you, by any chance, like Rush?

Lau, it's against the natural laws of man to be a bassist and NOT like Rush. Geddy Lee is a freakin' monster!! As far as bands, I'm into classic rock all the way to screamo and some death metal. Of course I also dig jazz and classical as well. I went to school for music performance, so my musical taste is quite eclectic. Rush is one of my all time faves though.

As far as the sparkplug...it's just absolutely amazing!! Great vapor production and amazing TH. Their CS is also proving to be top notch.

Good luck with that new GLV. Let me know how it turns out, OK?

On Edit...if you dig Rush, give Circa Survive a spin.

WOO HOO! Found my first Rush fan here. Fantastic. I figured if you play bass you'd at least like Geddy... but not all bass players like Rush. I haven't yet met a drummer who doesn't like them tho. Have you seen them live? I'm a huge fan... seen them in a few different places in the country (and in Canada) and been to about 40 shows. I skipped this 2nd leg of the Time Machine tour to save money for the upcoming album and THAT tour.

I'm so happy you found something you enjoy for vaping. I hope I have the same experience when I get my GLV. Can I add you as a friend? We can post, listen to Rush and vape together :) And I'll have to check out your band too!

I'd be more than honored to have you add me as a friend!! Circa is not my band...I can only wish. I'm actually taking some time off of the band thing for now. My band did record an EP though, and had a fair fan base with some radio play. We sort of fell apart right when we about to get signed by a label...too much immaturity. I can send the EP to you if you want, but we're nothing like Rush...not nearly as good either and a totally different style. PM me with your email if you want, and I'll send it to you electronically.

I have seen Rush live. When they released Hold Your Fire, I saw them live in Minneapolis. Watching Geddy sing, play bass and work those Moog Taurus pedals simultaneously makes me quiver!! I don't know any bass players that don't at least admire Geddy's playing. His voice isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I would imagine a bass player that doesn't like his playing is likely fraught with envy and in deep denial...lol!
