Well, after receiving my first order of 5 new flavors of juice from Rockstar Vapor, my cheapo little Bonnair wannabe PV bit the proverbial dust. Now I'm back on analogs until my new Sparkplug kit arrives.

Can't wait to try it out and get rid of these car exhaust tasting sticks again! Anyone have any experience with the Sparkplug? I figured the design, being completely mechanical, HAD to be better than that dumb little Bonnair kit, and the price is right, so...why not?:p

I heard it before too! Buddy, once you got them and have it tried, please let me know the outcome. I would appreciate it a lot. I'm pretty new to ecig. Also want to know more about it. Lol.

Oh, you still able to take it with analogs? I can't. It stinks badly for me. :(

I'll let you know how it goes...barely able to stand the analogs. It stinks and I can't stand the taste!!

hey if i remember right the sparkplug comes with unprotected batteries and if thats correct i would not reccomend using them....big safty factor there, so unless you allread bought different protected bats id look around for some, also did you SP come with the thermal tube, if so you can use it at 6V, in the PIF section theres a huge thread on the SP, take a look and see what the info is about it, hope it works for ya...ive heard good things!!!

CES, I'll have a look at those sub forums. Thanks for the heads up!

Webbcm, I read that thread...all 56 pages of it...lol! I don't think the SP3 comes with the thermal tube, but I'll know more when it gets here. I'm not sure if the SP3 comes with protected batteries or not...I've read the SP2 did not. If it doesn't come with protected batteries, I'll be purchasing some. Thanks!

You might be able to find someone nearby to loan you a PV til your sparkplug gets there

Honestly, we have quite a few local, Texas ecig companies. I'm not at my primary computer, so I don't have my favorites here, but here are two I've used...

www.DFWVapors.com
Houston Electronic Cigarettes-Alvin Ecigs

I've ordered from both multiple times. Order early enough in the day, and you will get same day shipping. So if you order a cheap 510 battery Monday morning, you'll likely have it Tuesday.

Even if you feel you don't need to go this direction now, it might be a good idea to go ahead and get one of the cheap little 510 singles from madvapes or similar. I mean, for $10, you get a battery, a charger and a cartomizer. That's a pretty slick deal IMO. Great for a backup.

For what its worth, both of my eGo batteries decided to die on me within a day of each other (after 6+ month of solid use - no complaints here). I had my cheap pass through as a backup, but it doesn't work all that great. I decided to move to the epower, but also bought one of the cheap eGo batteries and a 510 (...and extra batteries and another battery charger and a vv mod and a 5v pass through and... :().

Lesson learned. I will not be caught without a decent backup again.

I just picked up a couple SP2 Sparks and the guy selling it included a Thermo tube (I just need 2 3V batteries). Everyone I've mentioned it to says I should get protected batteries. To be honest, I think mine are unprotected.

Could someone explain the difference or point me to a good thread about it? I would be much obliged :)

I've been using a swap top mod for about a year now and i use LifePO4 batteries which are protected by a built in circuitry and they are made so that if they DO fail, they do not vent with flame. I've been using them for a year now (i keep 3 pairs on hand) and never had one fail and they last a good while since they are 500 maH. I don't know many places to get them but i got mine from Joe at iVape.net - iVape Personal Vaporizers, Electronic Cigarettes, E-liquid, and Accessories - Entrance. heard great things about the spark plug and i guarantee you will be blown away by high volt vaping :)
