Something might be dead but I'm not sure what

I left my battery charging in the USB port overnight and it's still not green. Does this mean the battery is completely dead? Or worse could the charger be dead? The thing is, the computer was in standby all night. I thought I had experimented with that and discovered batteries WILL charge when the computer is on standby, but maybe not. I hope that's what it is.

I am assuming you are seeing a red light so that rules out the standby issue. My PC USB ports stay active even when it is off.

A. Maybe the port is not putting out full voltage. (Try another port, one that is not on the same hub. Like if you are plugged into the front then try one from the back)

B. Maybe you do indeed have a dead battery.

Apparently it WAS the particular USB port I was using. I just put the same battery back in another port and it charged to green in an hour or so. I also rebooted my computer, hopefully that other USB is okay and just needed a reboot (though actually the idea of that being dead didn't horrify me nearly as much as the thought of being without any vaping for a few days until I could buy another charger!)
