Something Tastes Funny...

So i got my order in a few days ago and noticed my attys and pipe tasted like a primer. Easy fix. To wash them with some Vodka and Pooof no more nasty weird taste. But I ran into a problem with my pipe... I just cant soak it... and im not even sure if the taste is primer anymore. It wont go away! this was the 601 BTW. But I have hoped that it would just disapate and I even tried covering it with my strongest tobacco. But still nothing! the taste is still there, its a bitter sweet taste? and its not very nice.

I work in a vaper shop and know what primer tastes like (gotten mouth fulls of the stuff ick!) but this taste just wont go away its making me sad.

Anyone else know what the taste is? / had this problem? / know how to fix it?

Thanks Rick i poped you an email. This thread wasn't meant to deter anyone from the 601. I love the thing its one of the most beautiful e-cigs I now have and it works wonderfully I just wasn't sure if that taste was something common or not.

And if anyone has a way of cleaning it that would still be cool to let me know

I tell you what, I have a pipe here, the full size pipe as yourself, and I like it, actually, I have several, and they all have the same thing, they vape like a freight train, but since there auto, I get a "miss" here and there, and besides this, they do have there own taste per say.
I chucked the factory juice from the massive carts and washed them, so I think I know what taste your referring to. Maybe not.

Oh the vapor this thing puts off is unheard of. My PG/VG mixes are just crazy with it. On top of that I throw in my favorite Cuban Cigar with a hint of Vanilla and it is just like when i smoked a pipe.

The Pipe itself is BEAUTIFUL! I have slowly widdled the taste away and I have been enjoying the Pipe. Your service was excellent too I really do appreciate the email. I will be keeping the pipe and enjoying it as my occasional vape item for when im on the porch and sitting around.

I need a Pipe stand again! When i stoped smoking pipes I tossed all mine and now I need another to show this baby off.

I bet the vanilla in there with the cigar is tight, Di turned me on to the cigar flavor, I use it in most of my personal recipes.

Well I can't help you with the stand, never used a pipe , but I have a huge humidor full up of cigars I'm afraid of smoking lol
