Something weird I have noticed

This is kind of personal and gross, but there is no delicate way of putting it, so I will just be blunt. My pee reeks of nicotine.

I am primarily (pretty much only) a menthol smoker and started with Tonic Silver Leaf Menthol 32%, then went down to 16%

Right now I am smoking Ecopure menthol, 10 mg. So, I keep going down in nicotine strength and my pee still reeks of nicotine.

Not a huge issue at all, but could be embarrassing at a doctor's office or such. Has anyone else noticed this?

How long since you last smoked? I know that I started noticing weird smells a few weeks after I quit. Now the only odd smell that I smell is my hair smells like my vape juice in the morning.

It has been since March 9th. Quit for Lent and haven't went back

I never noticed a nicotine scented pee when I smoked analogs, but have noticed it from the get go with vaping. My DH is also vaping and swears he has not noticed the same thing in himself.

Hmmm, that is odd. Haven't heard this but am sure you are not the first.

You are not alone. There have been threads about this before...I've spent the last half hour looking and I can't find one tho !
One thing you need to remember is to make sure you are really drinking extra water !

This is very interesting. What does nicotine smell like? You're sure that's what you're smelling?

Edit: Could it be that you're dehydrated? Drink a lot of water and your urine is colorless and almost odorless.

I have the same odd smell too, I thought I was crazy but guess not. I notice it especially in the morning. Well at least I am not the only one.

this is a very weird thread... are you sure it's not some asparigus or something? or just your sense of smell getting stronger so your noticing the smell of your pee more in general..

There is a thread in the general discussion about an issue with a quit-smoking forum that doesn't like e-cigarettes. One of the "expert" posters there said that nicotine comes out in urine, and in turns causes withdrawal. I swear, right after I read that, I smelled strawberries after I went LOL

I vote for dehydration. Drink more water. I'm not sure that nicotine has a smell. 60mg DIY nic juice just smells like the PG base.
