Everyone has different motivations when they indulge in vaping. Mine is to find really great juices. I like the variety of flavors too much to just stick to 1 all day, so I'm constantly on the hunt for great new juices I can add to my rotation. As such, I'm always trying samples and ordering new ones. My hit rate is pretty low. Lots of juices and vendors that other people rave about just don't do it for me. I approach new samples with a bit of a skeptical attitude because I've been let down too many times by glowing reviews and amazing flavor descriptions.
Well, today I vaped 7 different juices and I really really liked all of them. It was amazing!
The first 2 I vaped(Cran Chi by Halcyon and Melon Ball by eLiqCube) were local ones I bought from B&Ms after trying them so it was no surprise that I liked them.
Then I decided to finally tackle the 1ml samples I got for Highbrow juices.
First up was Heavenly Macaroon. I liked it a lot, but that wasn't a surprise since I loved their Coconut flavor that I tried at a B&M.
Next was Eve's Delight, their apple flavor. This was the fist apple flavor I've tried that I was impressed with. It tasted crisp with a slight tang.
The last 2 I tried were Highbrow's Limoncello and Orange de Sangre. Both really good citrus flavors with some sophistication.
All my Highbrow samples were from eliquidsamples.com so they were only 1 ml and they didn't last long. I was still appreciating the citrus flavors when I remembered that I got a small sample bottle of Psycho Citrus from Mister e-liquid with my last order. I never tried it when I got it because back then I had mostly iClears and I heard citrus was not recommended on plastic tanks.
While I really like a lot of MEL's flavors, I also remember not really liking their very popular Lemon Ice juice when I tried it at a B&M. I was kind of disappointed when the sample turned out to be a citrus flavor because I figured if I didn't like the Lemon Ice, I wouldn't like any of their citrus flavors. Turns out I was totally wrong.
I absolutely love the Psycho Citrus! The name is deceiving because it suggests something really strong and in your face. But it's actually a very smooth citrus flavor highlighted by grapefruit. I don't even like grapefruit or grapefruit flavored foods. Too tart, too bitter. But this juice is like a smooth grapefruit without any bitterness and just enough tang to give a good citrus bite. Hell, if grapefruit sodas or juices tasted like this, I might have to go find some to try.
At this point I decided to stop while I was ahead. Lol. Still have some more samples I need to try, but I'll save them for another day.
The only bad part about finding all these juices I want bigger bottles of is that Highbrow does not look to be having a Black Friday or Cyber Monday sale. I have so many juices and samples coming from what I've ordered this week that I probably won't get around to ordering from Highbrow for months. And 2 of the vendors I've sampled in the past and liked(MEL and Fuzion) aren't having sales until Monday and I know I'll be buying lots from them.
Anyway, I'm kind of rambling now and I'm not sure what the point of this post was. Just wanted to share with my fellow juice hounds.
