I started vaping about ten months ago when a friend of mine turned me on to it. I dove head-long in (or so I thought) and dropped analogs within the first week. I started with a Joye 510 atty/cart setup, and that brought me along for the first nine months. About a month ago, I discovered ECF, and what an amazing trove of wonders it has been :). I, of course, discovered modding very quickly, and it has piqued my interest. I ordered a 3.7v box mod from madvapes, assembled it, and the bug has bitten. I was just curious about where, other than MV, everyone gets their supplies for DIY projects? I enjoy what they have, I just was looking for more options, possibly?

Welcome to ecf....great place, glad you found us.

I won't try to speak for Motoman but I have provaris and I use boge 3.0 ohms cartos in tanks. Then just dial it to my sweet spot. That is the beauty of vv. Some people use the lr version for hotter vapes but usually with a fixed 3.7 device. I am currently running around 4.2-4.5 for most of my juices.
Hope this helps.
Happy vaping.
:)

You want to definitely hang around the "modding forum".

You can talk to all the real CRAZY'S who make stuff like this- http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...watts-amps-boost-mcu-mod-w-nokia-display.html

Sugar,
Thanks for the information. I have read a little about the VV mods, and 6-8 watts seems to be the "sweet spot" for most. I might have to invest in a VV after all, or find plans for one I can do myself :)

Provape is coming out with colors around the first of Aug. And choices for colored leds. If you decide to go provari, you won't be disappointed. Best thing on the market. When they were first introduced, I got in on the waiting list. And my first one is still going strong. Its been a year and a half now. Have had it upgraded to the 2.0 version(the one they have now). Can't go wrong. You may want to look into the classified ads section in ecf....may be able to get a good deal?

Good luck
:)
