So after about 25 days smoke free, with only 1/2 a cheat, I finally got the smokers flu. Or the regular flu. I wouldnt know becuase I have seriously have not been sick in over 7 years. I feel like poop. It even hurts to vape :(. I got some menthol ice liquid and that is all I can vape...uggg

I think vaping menthol to cure vaping sickness is like popping aspirin to relieve an ulcer.

the first month or two of vaping for me caused dryness and throat abuse unlike anything except smoking for the first time decades ago, maybe worse but not cancer causing in my book.Would recommend drinking any and everything while vaping in the beginning.

agreed. for the first week or 2 of me vaping, I had to constantly have a bottle of water with me. you get used to it fairly quick and before u know it, vape all day without the slightest feeling of dry throat :)!

Heh, I got a friend vaping and the other day he sent me a text "Man, this thing gives me wicked cottonmouth".
My response was "You obviously didn't read the links I sent you"
Him: "What do they say?"

:)

Today I had horrible pains in my chest all day. Like needles... Luckily it was with intervals. I'm quite convinced it has something to do with withdrawal, but I just hope it's not because of vaping... Anyone ever experienced this?

Needle sensation in chest is not a good sign. I would go immediatly to 0 nic for the rest of the day. Also, I would have your cell phone on you at all times. Not trying to scare you.. As a panic attack sufferer I have come to learn the difference between non heart attack symptoms, and real symptoms. Numbness or needle sensation is not a good sign! I hope you feel better, and take an asprin! (You are probably fine).

If you do find your chest starting to get very heavy, call 911, and start coughing extremely hard every 3 seconds, (self CPR).

I'm a worrier, so don't take this the wrong way!!
