Sony vtc4

I've heard a lot of good things about Sony vtc batteries and plan on getting a vapor flask eventually which they recommend sony's. My local vape shoppe got in vtc4's and they say they are authentic, how can I tell if they are the real deal?

Now it's almost impossible to tell. Awhile back when I got my vtc5 you could tell with clues on the battery. But now counterfeiters got better and it's difficult. You CAN google this and see how we used to be able to tell, maybe they have something new about it. Best wishes.

I only buy batteries from known good suppliers that do not sell counterfeits. Here's my list of those;

Illumination Supply
RTD Vapor
Lighthound
Orbtronic
Battery Junction

Illumination Supply have them for $8 each. Unless I could confirm my local vape shop sold authentic VTC4s I would stick with these suppliers.

The problem is that you can't tell anymore. The vendors can't even tell unless they have the proper test equipment, and can provide you with graphs.
