I already had a post where I was gonna purchase some of these from Powerstream. They finally showed up today. I will get some pics up soon as I can get a better camera then my phone camera. The sad part is I will already have to RMA them back. The mail man crush the packaging and there appears to be some small dents in the batteries. Gotta love the post office. From what I can tell and compare they do appear to be legit VTC5 but I am no battery expert. I will get some pics up soon before I ship them back to get 2 replacements that are not dented. I'm sure a few small dents may not hurt the battery but I don't take chances when it comes to battery safety.

I have a few VTC4's. Correct me if I'm wrong but isnt the only difference between a VTC4 and a VTC5 about 500mAh?
And 10A too. The VTC4 is 30A but apparently the VTC5 is only 20A. That's what I read on another forum yesterday anyways (maybe it was here, can't remember). I thought they were both 30A.

The VTC5 (original cells) were 30 amp continuous discharge, with 2600 mAh compared to the VTC4's 2100 mAh.

With all the batteries now being "cloned" and re-wrapped, its difficult to know if you are getting genuine Sony VTC5 if seen on the market.

Sony themselves have never posted a graph that shows 30A CDR is possible with the VTC5, the only "official" graph provided by sony only shows a 20A CDR rating with this cell.
