I'm so tired of having to mess with my atomizers! I finally got two e-cigs that have batteries that last a long while but now I'm just frustrated with my atomizers.

I feel like all I do is mess with them because they never seem to be consistent. I have tried cleaning them many different ways and no way seems really good. I've tried different fillers and again I'm not happy with any of them. Today I finally got so fed up with my filler I went to dripping but that is so inconvenient.

I'm thinking about buying a Vapor king but I'm so afraid that it will give me no throat hit, short battery life and I will not be satisfied with it but what I've read it seems convenient.

Then I thought about buying some 510 cartomizers but they just seems expensive and I've tried refilling those and didn't have much luck with that. Plus I love V4L liquid but they don't carry 510 cartomizers so I'd have to get an adapter to use their cartomizers.

I am just so frustrated with all of the work it is too keep these up. I think that is pretty much what happened last time I gave up on these and went back to smoking (also think it had to do with little batteries that only lasted me 2 hours but I finally got that problem fixed). I don't want to go back to analogs again but damn I get so frustrated sometimes! I just wish it wasn't so much work!

I'm not sure what a good answer is to all my frustrations...does anyone have any advise?

Yup buy the value4 life kr808. vapor king The battery life is much longer then a 510, as in hours. You like their juice already, and they work great. NO muss no fuss plug and play.
Get the kit with the portable charging case and keep the spare bat charged all day.
I love it. You will get a great th and plenty of vapor too plus good flavor,

I have a 510 too, I like it when I want to play with something LOL.
It never leaves the house with me though.

Awww...damn, Timbleweed, I know it can be frustrating at times. Smoking seemed so easy compared to vaping. There are only a couple of things I can suggest. Since you've got your battery thing figured out, let's go to carts and attys.

I use only 901 carts with all attys. I pull the poly out and cut it in half to make just a plug. Fill the cart with 10 drops, put the plug in and add a couple or 3 drops to make sure its wet. I've found this will make good vapor every time and drain completely before you need to fill again.

For the attys...I just say to hell with it:p :D I have never had an atty last very long. I order in multiples from Heaven-Gifts (cheaper that way) and when one gives out I toss it. I have sent some back because they do have a warranty, but don't do that often. For me, it is much less expensive than buying cigarettes! Plus, it saves me the headaches of all the fiddling with them. I just don't have the patience for that kind of thing.

I do have some Kr8 cartos and I like them. They have a nice TH and the flavors I got from V4L are good. They're not hard to refill, and then just toss when they start to go down hill. Also, I really like the Kr8 batteries and I use an adapter on them for my 510 attys.

I hope you get things worked out so your happy vaping. For me, it's so much better than smoking. Good luck.

I had the same issues with my 510... too much trouble and if I started using it when I left home the battery was already dead by the time I got to school. I went to the vaporking and I love it. I only need two batteries.. one in my mouth, the other in the pcc. Refilling the cartomizers is a cinch when you use the cap refill method. I refill a few cartos every night.. put them in a box and I'm ready for the next day. Tired of a flavor? Pop off the carto and put another one on. Easy Breezy!

I hope you can find something that works for you. I just keep 4 510's going with an atty for each flavor. I only drip and I have the bridge removed so that I get a little warmer vapor. I clean them when they get funky tasting and clean the air holes if the draw gets hard. My friends who bought the KR808 like it for ease of use but it really doesn't seem to give as big a hit as my 510 does at least not how I have it set up. They might not have found their sweet spot yet, though.

If I go for a mod I will probably just buy a five pack of eGo or Tornado batts, cones and an adapter. But, I am on the fence really I have a PCC for on the go and with no-box kits from cignot being so cheap I just might pick up another kit if I get to were I really need it.

It might also not be a big deal dripping for me because it's already much less work than Rolling my own smokes. Also, with a limited budget and all, I tend to go for what is most affordable.

Well I have 26 attys working fine and I rotate them so it will be a long while and impossible to figure out if and when they go bad. The "why" I have so many is because when I first started (and before I knew about ecf) I would get the 1st great hits in the beginning and then they would either taper off or appear dead....In fear that Id go back to analogs I ordered 6 5packs from different vendors so Id have plenty to last and enough time to reorder more when needed......then you all came into my life  and it turns out I was flooding them all, here I learned how to fix them and prevent it from happening. Now thats a noob story for ya.

Makes me realize how lucky I was to find this site before I ordered anything. But hey, on the plus side you won't be running out of atties any time soon.

Heck, if I had the extra cash I would consider buying a 50 pack of 510 starter kits from china. ($999) I would be like a boy scout, always prepared.:D

Thanks for all the advice!

I thought I had put what I had but I guess I didn't. I have an Ego and Protege v1.1 both use the 510. How is the Vapor King TH compared to the ego and protege? Is it close? If it isn't I will more than likely not like it. I guess I'll get more cartomizers since that does seem like less work and maybe buy a vapor king (depending on how the TH compares to the Ego).

I think th depends on a lot of things not just the pv itself. High nic , more pv, more th.
High nic ,pv vg mix good th. My vapor king (not from vaporkings) from value4life gives me all the th I could want. Really more then my 510 but that is a purely subjective thing,
I dont think anyone can really factor all that in for you and tell you what you personally will think of it.

I have both the Vapor King and the Protege. I don't like messing around with filling and topping off and changing attys out during the day so I use the KR808 XLong batts with premium cartos. These are easy to grab and go and they just work when you want them to. TH is great and I've been happy with these since last fall. The Protege PT is my main man at night with my Riskee juice and I'm happy has a lark.

I just recently switced to cartos and I don't see myself going back to attys. Especially with the 510. Seemed like all I was doing was refilling carts all the time. I absolutely love the cartos. Mine lasts for hours before needing to be refilled and using the condom method makes it even easier. I love these things right now. I would say definitely give it a shot!

Yeah they can be fiddly but honestly I dont really mind as much as I thought I would - its kind of relaxing fiddling away with it - like I imagine messing with a tobacco pipe must be (the filling, tamping etc); its not a huge hassle to me, sometimes I just take it aprt and fiddle for no reason LOL - I guess each to his own though - finding ANYTHING that works right for YOU is definitely the way to go. I hope you find what youre looking for :)
