So I'm not the only one loving my 901s?!? I've tried the 801s, but they aren't as warm and I seem to have to pull light on them, not for me. I'm sticking with my LR901s from Cisco at Avid Vaper.

Most definitely not! :) I've found that IKV's attys are wonderful as well, if you ever need a backup source or anything.

I recently tried ikv 901 but did not like them. I tried a 3.5 and a 2 ohm. I felt like i would get non stop dry hits. It was horrible i went back to my trusty 510s. This is just my opinion though. I use thicker vg liquid and had a hard time keeping tne coil wet.

Weird, it's the opposite for me. I had too many dry hits with 510's, and I hardly ever have them with 901's. Even with 100% VG juice. It's funny how subjective vaping really can be.

I've had a lot of hit and miss with IKV. I feel like (imo) they don't have very consistent products.

Because of this thread I ordered a 901 atty from madvapes to try on my army tank.. I really like it! It's great that they are so much cheaper (bulk) at vaporkings then the 510s. really smooth draw. I'm going to try it for a while and see how it holds up and then order some bulk.

Yeah I love my 901's on my army tank. And I already had a couple of drip shields for my 510's, so I just popped them on and PRESTO..... Huge capacity compared to the 510's. Love it love it love it.

I started vaping back in the middle of 09.....used the 901 for about a year and really liked them.....the wife would always over fill her carts and was notorious for killing the DSE 901 auto batts.....she would flood and kill about 1 a week....lol...we switched to 510s then so she wouldn't murder so many batts, but I always liked the 901 atty's hit.....

You hear so much about the newest 510 cartomizers and atomizers, 306 atomizers, and 808 cartomizers, but there is another contender that is often forgotten about. The 901 atomizer. I had heard about this guy a couple of times, but never really gotten any solid info. So I decided to give one a try. I got a 901 2.5 ohms, and popped it on my VV. I have no idea what voltage I'm running, (If I had to guess it would between 4 and 4.4) and the flavor, and chest hit (not throat hit) are wayyy better then a 510. It also stays wayyyy cooler (temperature wise) the a 510 of the same nature, and the hit is not so tight. I think this might be my new main atty. Wowsers. Give this guy a go if you haven't.

I have given the 901 a go many times. High infant mortality. Paint chips easily and dissolves when being cleaned. Inconsistent vapes. I was lucky to get one true 901 atty that got hot enough to use. The RN4075 is acceptable because the atties it does get hotter. You might have an RN4075 atty. But the paint job is still horrible so metallic finish without paint is a must. The black 901's are why I bought a 901 in the first place--it's just ain't cool to have silver. In general, 901/RN4075's are crap. I wasted a lot of money on them. If not yet, they deserve to be taken off the market.

School me about 901's someone. Please
Have a Silver Bullet, 3.7v (6v I am about to post somewhere else but another story) and been having a lot of issues with a lot
of my juice just kinda burning or very little flavor. Doesnt matter if I use reg. or LR attys.
Have been reading into some 901's (have never tried them), especially about fruit flavors, and that they taste better one a 901.
Fave found some 2.0 and some 2.5 versions, what would be better? I don't really need much throat hit, just interested in the fruit flavors. I really don't have any issues with tobacco flavors which are my day runners (fruits at night), just the fruit ones burning or really bland.
Thanks ahead of time.

Resistance is like juice. Everyone has their own opinion. I prefer 1.8 ohm 901s at 3.7V. However they aren'r the easiest thing to find. If you get a cheaper more available 901, it's likely to leak a bit. An empire drip shield helps with that a lot. Avidvapor sells one too I think. I will definitely recommend avid vapor's stealth line of adapters as well.

All hail the mighty 901!

I seriously don't know why the device is so overlooked. I personally love it.

I use CE2's , which give awesome flavor and vapor as we all know, but I also use the straight 901 atty for dripping at home and it is just awesome.

Sometimes I also use it with a cart, and for those who say the 510 cart does not work on 901's, I am using a lucid clear tank cart on my 901 atty right now and it's working great.

And, they also come in Riva and are compatible with all 808 cartos, what is not to love? :p

High infant mortality what? rate? Not anymore than other atty imo. What does paint have to do with the 901 specifically? You can get 510s that are painted as well. I promise you that if you learn how to use a 901 properly that it gets plenty hot for vaping, sounds like you must be flooding the heck out of it. Thats a pretty broad statement to say that 901s are crap, did you ever think that they just might not be for you or that the reason that they do not work for you is because you are doing something wrong? Taken off the market? lmao

The 901 is a finicky atty and can be quite a task to learn how to drip properly in it but once it is mastered it provides quite a full hit along with much better flavor than most of the other common atties. I love my 901 early in the morning with my coffee because of the nice full hit that it provides.

One thing that I have learned with the 901 is when I drip on it (3 drops max) I then gently blow on it while pressing the button to kinda spread the juice around inside it and then it vapes great. It can get a bit messy if I flood it and it leaks out the side hole. It's a great atty, I just have to be careful with my drips. Bottom feeding it is tricky too when used with a 510 to 901 adaptor. But it all worth in IMO because of the flavor it produces!
