I thought they were supposed to be released around the same time as the twist battery. Either they're sitting on the back burner or due to the new juices and other things Halo has going on, or there were/are problems in production. Halo has typically taken their time when reading new hardware, hopefully it's because they want to be certain the product performs right and has as few QC problems as humanly possible.

I asked Cinder about the passthru at the convention. She said that they were still making minor modifications, it's coming, just taking longer to get it production ready than Halo had hoped. She also said that we should expect further expansions to the Triton line. Course she wouldn't/couldn't be specific, but based on the conversation I'm hoping for and expecting at some point a Halo bottom coil tank and a Halo glass tank, time will tell.

Triton twists and Volt "spinner" have the exact same voltage range... Battery capacity options are the same. Coincidence?

It's possible that both use the same manufacturer, maybe with an exclusivity on some details (beyond the stamped logo).

Hey, if it makes vGo threading more popular, we'll all be better off. It's good news for a USB passthrough.

No. Most eGo/vGo vv batteries have the same 3.3 to 4.8 volt range as they use the same circuit-board which controls voltage range.

In my experience, a 900mah Triton vv twist and eGo 900mah vv twist share pretty much identical charging time/run time characteristics, keeping in mind that some cells simply perfrom better or worse to some extent, giving some variance to the charge time/run time of an individual battery.

The batteries are exactly identical, aren't they? Even the USB adapter is the same.
Maybe now that Halo is growing larger and larger, they will get custom designed equipment manufactured. I love the Triton tanks, even with the occasional threading issues. A glass version would be fantastic.

As I told and showed Cinder at the Vegas show, IMHO, the ProTank 2 would be THE fantastic solution. Of course, Halo Nation would need to hire another 15 employees :) Funny, I don't even vape the acidic plastic eating juice. I just love the way the tank is built, the soon to appear replaceable colored glass tubes, replaceable 501 tips for bling, the smooth and clean/pure vape, easy to fill and change the heads, and even removing one of the two flavor wicks for a tweak.

Really digging my Protank. I have the feeling that if Halo doesn't get more tank options for the Triton soon, people will start looking elsewhere. The T2 isn't exactly thought of as the best tank there is. Halo needs a proven bottom coil tank that fits without an adapter IMO. Protank mini, Evod or T3S.

Not everyone is a fan of BCC's.

Dual top coils work much better.

Just my :2c:

Sadly, very sadly, I have recently discovered this myself. I got a VapeOnly mini bcc, I totally love the whistle tip mouthpiece. It is a good quality build, creates lots and lots of vapor. Very cool vapor. Which is the only thing I don't like about it. I like warm vapor. Apparently bottom coils are just not going to end up being my perfect cup of tea. So yesterday I started a hunt for dual top coils.

Everyone likes what they like. But to only have one option (ok two options with the mini tank) isn't the smartest thing IMO.

I thought I liked a warmer vape until I tried some BCCs. As far as leaking goes, my Triton tanks had more leaking and gurgling issues than my BCCs. Not that was ever an issue for me with the Triton tanks.

If there's more options, more people won't be turned off by the idea of a battery with pretty much proprietary threading. If I was in charge, I'd offer the T2 and T3S (or the Evod); starter kits would come with either both types or one or the other. I think the main reason why people would recommend an eGo starter kit over a Triton starter kit is that with an eGo kit the user doesn't get locked into a single tank without the option of trying others. I've seen it stated many times in one way or another here on ECF.

Just my opinion. I've never run a business, so what do I know?
