How long should a battery last before needing to be recharged? I have a ZeroCig Georgie 2.0, which I guess is like an ego? I've been puffing on it pretty consistently and just 'clocked' it at 27 1/2 hours before needing to be recharged. Is that good or bad for this type of battery?

Also, how far down can the liquid be before refilling? Will it burn the coils/wicks if I let it get too low before refilling?

wow,,,,,I get about 5 hours out of my 1300 spinner if I'm vaping pretty consistently,,,,,,,

Really? I was looking to get a Spinner in the near future! Maybe I should just stick with the kind I have - buy a second one. They're only $17.99 in the local B&M store, which is cheaper than the Spinner seems to be online.

I stop to sleep (obviously, LOL!), but otherwise, it's almost always in my hand, and fairly consistently being vaped. I don't think I go more than a few minutes without hitting it. And then I have my caregiver coming in and hitting on it; my son has, too, a few times here and there.

I went grocery shopping yesterday and didn't vape while in the store, but did all the way to and from.

The guy at the store said, depending on how much it's being used, it can last between 24 hours and 3 days between charges. So... that's good, yes?

4: Avoid completely discharging lithium-ion batteries

If a lithium-ion battery is discharged below 2.5 volts per cell, a safety circuit built into the battery opens and the battery appears to be dead. The original charger will be of no use. Only battery analyzers with the boost function have a chance of recharging the battery.

Also, for safety reasons, do not recharge deeply discharged lithium-ion batteries if they have been stored in that condition for several months.
Don't use it till its dead! Use it like you would your Celphone.

These batteries benefits from shallow charge cycles.

Thanks! I didn't know that! I usually recharge my cell once I get the indicator beep that it's switching to 30% power because the battery is low. :)

I wasn't sure how long the Georgie battery would last, that's why I kept using it until it died - so that I would know. So, best bet might be for me to just set it on the charger when I go to bed?

I'm not getting how a 650 mAH battery is lasting so long. Am I missing something here?

Maybe I'm not vaping as much as I think I am, or in comparison to others? Like I said, it's always in my hand, I'm hitting it often/consistently, but not constantly. I just hold it in my hand, and then every minute or so, I hit it a few times. I'm also not a heavy hitter - I'd say I'm a medium hitter. Could that be making the difference?

That is what I was thinking as well. Is the OP sure it's a 650 mah battery? If so (and is getting that kind of life out of them while consistently vaping), I would like a link because I will buy a half dozen. The 650 mah batteries I used only lasted 5 to 6 hours before recharge as well. :)

Hey, nothing wrong with lasting long...
But you should DEFINITELY have a couple - vape one while the other's charging.
There is NO harm in charging it "early" - these batteries last "a couple hundred" recharges, but charging twice from halfway is just one, etc.

You don't want to vape when it's DRY - you will get a burnt taste, and if you do that a few times, the COIL that heats the juice will get a burnt taste to it that will remain afterwards. You can TRY to clean it, but sometimes even that fails and you just need a new thingy (not sure what you're using).

LOL, I don't know much about the details of devices - I get a little lost/overwhelmed by how much is out there. It's almost like learning a foreign language!

This is the device I bought, but it was WAY cheaper in the B&M store: NEW - GEORGIE 2.0 Starter Kit

It says it's a 650mah battery... so, yeah. It was only $35.99 in the store, though, not $49.99. I bought that kit and 2 bottles of e-liquid that were discounted at 2 for $10... out the door I spent $46.20 - I think he gave me a further discount on the first bottle of e-liquid; something about getting half off the first bottle for buying the starter kit.

He took great care of me! And even replaced the coil hours later because I had somehow managed to 'burn' it/the liquid, creating a horrible taste that also irritated my throat.

Yep, that's the goal - to have a second battery so that I can be vaping on one while the other is charging! The question was, which to get? I was leaning heavily towards the Vision Spinner, but based off the experience I'm having so far with the Georgie, I might just stick with it for my second device as well! I'll wait a few weeks to further gauge how it performs. :)

And I SO do not want to deal with that burnt taste problem again! LOL! I'll just be sure not to EVER let the juice get too low! :D

and this for a backup to my backup https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10004592/1353300-variable-voltage-usb-passthrough-battery-for-e
they were cheap enough just keep in mind they come on a slow boat :)

Oh! So THAT'S what a passthrough is! I hadn't gotten around to figuring that one out yet! Thanks!

I swear, all of this is taking a HUGE chunk of my time! LOL! I'm supposed to be writing the sequel to my novel! What am I doing instead? Reading INSANE AMOUNTS of info on vaping devices! :D

Thanks again for the links! The ego twist definitely has my interest! :)
