Ok I use opaque plastic bottles and I write on them with colored markers - sharpies - when I want to erase the writing I use an alcohol wipe - hope this helps:vapor:

I've also found this method very useful, for all the plastic bottles I use -- it's amazing how alcohol removes that sharpie! :thumb:

I use a Brother P-Touch printer. Both the black on clear and black on white tape sticks well on glass. I have a time or two when they don't stick very well and I think it is I may not have a clean surface. I have also seeped in hot water and not have had the labels come off or bleed.

To get glue off either glass or plastic just run under hot tap water until hot and rub it off. Not really noticed any glue residue, maybe very slight, from the Brother labels.
