but what the ....... is this. I am a new member but why shall I post some stupid things here only to get a chance to post important questions in other regions of the forum? Sorry about my english....I don't use it very often

I believe you only need 5 posts here to be able to go to other forums. The rule is in place to stop spammers from filling the forums full of junk and advertisements.

Also many 'old' members hang out here to help new people so you CAN post a question here, it may get moved to the correct forum eventually by a mod. The mods are happy to help out where they can - the rules are in place to stop new sellers who are NOT approved running straight into reviews and trying to promote their products and avoid moderation.
ALso here you will encounter other new people who might have similar questions as you have, but don't know yet where to look for the right section, and will benefit from seeing yours :)

First off, if you read the sticky "Newly registered members - Please read" you will learn why the forum is set up this was. I would add that the tone of your comment is a bit impolite. The forum is here for everyone's benefit, and I, for one, appreciate the fact that it is not log jammed with spam and obnoxious comments.
Second, if you read the new member sticky - "How many posts do I need to..." You will learn the post count required to participate in other areas.
You've got two posts in, perhaps you could add one to the new member welcome thread introducing yourself, and ask a question or two. After that, you will be free to roam and post in several other areas.

I don't want to be impolite, and I know of course problems about spam. That ist a problem in every forum, I think. But here it is a little bit frustrating (?) to be forced to post some ...how to say...postings only for the counter. That can not be the final solution? Do you think so?

bg2509,

Welcome to ECF & I hope you enjoy your stay and participate in the largest and most friendliest online e-cigarette forum in the world.

Just go into some other newbs posts and say "welcome", or post any questions you have here in "this" forum (its both expected and should it require to be moved to a more appropriate forum area a moderator or admin will do so).

The management team has decided that this requirement and course of action is the best one to use for the forum's purposes, so really there is no point in complaining about it if you wish to participate in this "free" great community.

VapeOn,
Greg

Here is a Q for you bg2509...What is your governments opinion of e-cigs?

Having a lot of trouble with the US and UK governments trying to ban, is the reason I ask.

Oh and welcome :)
In Germany we still have no problems with the e-cigs. I think our government has enough other problems for the moment. And maybe it would be better for us not to wake them up ;)

Thanks to all for the welcome. So then, I go to start my welcome-tour :)
